Hey there. Uhh...there's this guy at school who I think looks really hot. He's a grade above me and I am friends with a lot of people he knows. Some people say he's conceited, but he doesn't really seem like it. I really wanna talk to him and get to know him, but I dunno what to say at all. I dunno if he even knows I exist or whatever. I just don't wanna look like an idiot in front of him. I'm not that good at starting conversations. What can I do to get his attention so he'll start talking to me?

It might seem weird to say hi to him if you've never talked to him before so just pay attention to what's going on around you when you're near him, like about other people that are around or something like that. you could ask him if hes friends w/ the people you know hes friends w/. Jus find sumthin to say to him then ask him what his name is and tell him yours. The next time you see him after that say hi and wats up

Why not see if you all can hang out sometime? I know that in a group it may not always be easy to get the attention of one person, but maybe out of school and such he'll see what kind of a cool person you are and want to talk to you.
Smile if you can't talk to him. When you smile at a guy, he'll normally know something is up and it will really get his attention. Once you build up the confidence start saying Hi, what's up.. things like that. Do you have any classes together? You could always sit down and talk to him about that. It's just something to get a conversation going. [ EvilCheshire's advice column | Ask EvilCheshire A Question ]
