im 14 and well ppl always tells me im pretty...but yet no one likes me...i mean if im so pretty why doesn't n e one like me? i mean i don't get it...and i have friends...so it must mean im not awful or weird...i think im nice...plzz help! i just really really dont get it....so could you help me please!?

Well for a moment I thought you one of my friends melissa, but this asked like 11:00 pm and so I guess you arnt her. (Winks)

I feel this way some times but I always end up getting over it. I only have really one friend that I can feel I can tell anything too but the others would love to break me down and say hurtful things so just keep my mouth shut.

What I have done is except myself. I like who I am and I don't care what others think. If you think your nive then thats good. I think that you should just try to do things that make you feel good about your self. Get away form the computer, don't check your e-amil s much. get out of the house and enjoy the summer. Even if you can't leave your yard turn on the sprinkler and put your towel on the grass turn the water on and lay in the sun with the sprinkler on you. You get a nice tan, you can chekc out some of the cute guys that pass by and you also can start thinking m\REALLY postive things about yourself. Trust me it works. Just stay away form anything that makes you feel bad.
If you keep a jurnal look at the past times you ahve writen and see where you were feeling your worst and why.

Well I don't think its anything that you should be that worried about. It maybe because you are dancing and more active then you normaly are when you are on your period. I know because I hardly like to do anything on my period so I think that may be a cause. Another thing that seems more likely is that its just at the same time when your dancing you at you heaviest flow. Thats what I think. I know that athletes and pro dancers ( I use to be semi pro) have their periods later because they'er body is working mucules and so it there bodys take a lill more time.

I think its perfectly normal, nothing you should be worried about. If you really feel that its not right then ask your doctor. But I really don't think you need to worry.

I'm a 15 yr old gurl and i'm in love with the show Lizzie McGuire. Its a disney show... made for like little kids. Am I totally retarded for liking this show? I dont know why I like it SO much but i realllllly do! I watch it everyday... twice a day! and I have a tape of all the recorded episodes which I watch a lot too. And of course the Lizzie McGuire movie too!!!!! I just cant get enough. I even cut my hair like hers (of course it looks better on her but whatev) please help i dont know what to do

Lol, Well I will be honest that I used to be a lil obsessed with Lizzis McGuire too but now that I have seen all of her epidsodes it's kinda the same ol thing.

Really It shouldn't matter if you getting questions asked to you or not. For a while I was getting about 2-3 questions a week asked to me, it was cool But I haven't for a long while but Really I think its a real compliment if someone asks you a question because that means that they were looking at the advice you gave and think that you give honest and a good advice.

Honestly don't worry, were all advicenators and we don't all get questions asked just to us we just answer the other questions.

Your helping as long as you are answering a question and you really feel that you helped. You sould like a real honest person so don't worry right now just keep answering question and you just might get a question to you!

Im a girl and 14...I use to go out with this guy Manuel. We went out for almost 5 months. We were really serious, and we were crazy for each other. At school we were the couple everyone wanted to be. Well...he had told me he loved me. Which might seem kind of weird because we only went out for 5th months of so but he did, and even my mother knew he did. He was great because he would do ANYTHING what so ever for me. I love him I do. But...a while ago we broke up. Because of his bestfriend...which is also my ex.Well i broke up with him, he was really upset. Well he did go out with this one girl Katie but they didnt last. At tha end of this last school year we started talking. After 3 1/2 months of no talking at all. Well i invited him over to go swimming in my pool n later that night we had been flirting alot but then he siad we needed to talk n told me he didnt want to be in a serious realtionship with me. I was really upset but i didnt let it show. We talked fer tha next week on tha phone. And tha least time we talked I had found out that tha previous night he was at his ex-girlfriends house. I got mad but didnt let it show. I havent talked to him now for...almost a month. I still love him n i miss him so much. But im not sure what to do...???????

Your doing exactly what I did. Trust me he is just going to keep on playing you, Thats exactly what he is doing to you Playing you.
I know its hard to think of ever getting over him, But you will. Try to do things that make you not think of him. I know that he may be on your mind all the time but what you need to do focus on the postives and slowing but surely he will dissapate from you mind and you will be able to have a real relationship with a great guy.

Just keep busy and don't go around watching tear jerker movies like I did. BAD IDEA!

Due to an error that really messed up the site today, I've set up the "give advice" page to operate in "backlog mode" (because, well, we're backlogged). What this means is that instead of just seeing the newest questions first, you're seeing questions with the fewest answers first. After someone answers a question, it gets bumped down. This helps to make sure every question gets answered, and all the questions are answered equally. Questions three days old just aren't shown at all.

I put the site in this mode because we're in an emergency situation, but what do you think of it? Should we have it like this all the time, so questions with no answers are at the top, waiting for you? Or do you think we should go back to the old way, so you always see the newest questions when you click on "give advice"?

I liked it the way it was before. Because now when you answer a question and then go back to the "Veiw Questions" its gone down lower sometimes or off the first page.
I personaly DO NOT like it. But prehaps I am wrong.
I just think that it kinda messes everything up. I liked it the way it was before because it seemed very organised, now it seems like evey time I want to give advice it's like the questions are moving in a way.
This is my opinion, may be wrong but it's what i think.

Well i'v lyked dis boi since da beginig of da
"03-04" school year and i knew when he first sat nxt to me in class i would lyk him. we flirt wit each otha lyk 24/7 n EVRYONE use to ask y i dont go wit him n i was lyk "ur askin da wrong person"! he was really popular n ALOT of grls lykd him so he flirted alot, n i got jealous but neva really let it get to me cuz i flirt alot too! but he moved durin x-mas break n we kept in touch n planned to go to da movies a couple timz but neva wrkd out. is dat a sign i should move on? 1) PLEASE speak english. It's what you speak then why try to write different? I had to read this question over about 3 times before I could completely understand it.

2) I know a guy thats like this and he just a flirt and a player. I know what you mean when you say you melt when you hear his voice. thats what I do with this stupid guy too.
He likes when yu call call but doesn't? thats a sign right there. You sometimes feel as if he doesn't like you? that should tell you something too. He sounds like a guy you really should for get. 4) No I don't think your in love. Real love I think is different. I don't think it has bounderies, You can just be yourself around him, when your with him there are no worries. I personaly think that you find love at the age of 13, 14, or even 15. Some do but that is very uncommon. Yes some of your friends may think they are in love but it never lasts.

WHat do guys want in a girl?

I don't think anyone knows the answer to that question.

Me personaly I think they want someone they can be theirselves around, good personality, smart, I guess you could say what US gurls want in guys.
Yes some guys love the "Hit the booty, barbie girls" but have you looked around lately? most of the population isn't like that. I'm not fat, but im not a stick either, im normal. and I don't think anyone should try to be like those abnormal, anerexic, models. They may be beautiful but they aren't perfect.
So look in the mirrow a different way and say "I'm perfect the way I am and guys should be lucky to know me"
I think the best thing in a girl that guys like is Confidence. I think they like the feeling a girl beign comfortable with herself and doesn't care what other people think of her. And she care if she breaks her nail.

This is my oppion and I could be wrong sence I'm not guy. but maybe this gives yo a idea.
