all my friends are ragging me that i don't wear any thongs i was wondering why people wear them anyways since they so uncomfortable and what should i do about my friends

I go through with a simmilar situation I have finally convinced myself that it isn't a big deal what my friends think, they like me for me, not for what i wear, or what i look like. Tell them that you personally don't like wedgies (that is what i did and they left me alone) and if one day you know they arn't wearing a thong and complane of a wedgie or something like that say, now you see why i don't wear thongs, just try spinning some humor on it, it has always worked for me. Well, they're not really that uncomfortable... try an actual thong instead of a g-string. They're far more comfortable.
I personally wear them for me, because they make me feel a little sexier.
As for your friends, make fun of them back! Ask them why they're so concerned about your underwear. It really doesn't matter, your underoos are your choice!

i only wearng mine around my bf. he tells em he likes that stuff that is basically the only reason. some can be uncomfrontable. and others arent. they way mom thinks there used for is to not show underwear when you wear tight clothing..

if you dont want thongs, you could try string bikinis if you want, becuase i guess they are like half thhongs

To me, they are more comfortable; I would have never of thought that before I tried them. If you think they're comfortable, then by all means, wear them. But if not, it doesn't matter, stick with what you like.
As for your friends, just tell them to stop obsessing about what does or does not cover your butt. That should take care of them. <3

first off, skip your friends- its your buttcrack, not theirs. second, people wear them alot because they dont show pantylines in your pants. and some women do find them to be comfortable. me, for example. its all a matter of preference, and opinion. some people think theyre great, and others thnk their nasty- just go with what you think and skip what your friends think on this one. after all, they cant FORCE you to wear one!

I wouldn't stress it that much. Actually, did you know, you could get infections from wearing thongs? And when you wear a thong everyone knows you are cause your butt jiggles. ahah thats gross but whatever. just forget what your freinds say. and if they keep on ragging on you, say why do you care so much about my underwear?

Alot of girls think thongs are sexy and cute, and teh boys tend to agree, haha. I don't know either why everyone wants to wear them. What I wear are those cute little shorts. Guys think they're just as "sexy" and I think they're comfy and adorable. Just tell your friends you're not comfortable with wearing them. They shouldn't be ragging on you ; it's a thong for god sakes. Nobody can even see them unless you drop your shorts. But anyways, if you want to, tell a little fib. It might help get them off your back more. Just be like,"I've tried them before ; they're too uncomfortable, I don't like them. Sorry for not wanting a little string all the way up my butt." So even if you've never tried them on before at least they think you would've. But like I said, they're ragging about underwear? I think there are more important things, and I don't think they should care so much with what is being worn under their friends pants. I hope I helped.

Most people wear thongs because it helps to prevent the 'dreaded VPL' (Visible Panty Line). There's this big thing that's been about for the last few years that God forbid anyone should know you wear 'normal' underwear because they can see your knickers through your trousers or something.
It's also a fashion trend. That's why there are thongs with fancy bands and charms and diamante effects.
The other reason is sex appeal. Most people seem to believe that thongs are the sexiest underwear so women wear them (sometimes men do too) because they make them feel attractive and sexier.
That being said, I can't stand the things. I don't understand why so many people would willingly walk around with a wedgie all day!!!!
The best thing you can do to your friends is point out that since you are the one who will be wearing the underwear, it's entirely your choice what sort you wear. If you aren't comfortable having a wedgie then you won't wear a thong and that's the end of it!
Really that's the best piece of advice I can give you. People will probably tell you what you should be wearing all your life but the thing to remember is that as long as it is YOU wearing the clothes, YOU should decide what you feel comfortable in and forget the rest.
