For homecoming dance (this saturday) I got a really nice dress. the only problem is that it falls three inches past my feet. My mom says if i dont figure out how to shorten it or grow anoter few inches before saturday, she'll let my sister wear the dress instead because she wants to wear it now. Which isnt really fair since i was the one who found.
But anyway, is there anyway to shorten the dress by a few inches? I really need to know before saturday. please help!! (link)

try some higher heels. or just fold it under and safety pin it, yea it isn't the best looking, but who is going to be looking at the ground anyway. hope i helped

I don't do very well on tests and so I need help on studying...and don't say, Take Good Notes...be more specific...life crisis!

i have the same problem, latly i found that i just need to go over the material several time, on deffinitions, i will write the word, write the deffinition on a seperate piece of paper, and try to recite the deff. by memory, once i think i have it i move to the next one repeating the same process, but then i go back through the rest of the list. I do the same on geography locate it on the map, move to the next one, locate both of them, and so on. It has worked pretty well for me. hope i helped

I go through with a simmilar situation I have finally convinced myself that it isn't a big deal what my friends think, they like me for me, not for what i wear, or what i look like. Tell them that you personally don't like wedgies (that is what i did and they left me alone) and if one day you know they arn't wearing a thong and complane of a wedgie or something like that say, now you see why i don't wear thongs, just try spinning some humor on it, it has always worked for me. Okay anyways.
Every once in a while, I get pimples,
not like acne, but like with its the time of the month or something, I'll get a really bad pimple that almost looks like a boil or something on my face ( I know its not, its just really bad ) I'm wondering how I can stop that from happening, or atleast becoming so big.
And maybe how I can make them go away when I have them, because its really embarssing.
I try to use cover up, but during the day the makeup like comes off, and you can see bits of the makeup outlining the area, its pretty gross.
Anything I can do to reduce the redness? (link)

i heard ice reduses (sp?) redness, but the only thing that i can give you is to wash your face daily (i reccomend at night) and it helps alot, mine does the same thing, it is fine for several weeks, and just before i start it gets bad again. Hope i helped

Just a question for yourself (please don't take offensively) Do you talk to other guys? (my guess is you prolly said yes) and you prolly have other guy friends too right? (im guessing you agreed) well if you can have guy friends, why can't he have female friends? I had to put my-self in the same situation (but we were going out) and that is the way i dismissed it, i said that i had guy friends so he can have girl friends. talk to his boss and ask how many hours that he as worked, call the boss and ask if he is there, then make something up like, i love you and i just wanted to know if you wanted to go out tonight. Check his cell phone on the out going calls and see if he is calling sombody regularly that you arn't sure about. Also something that i would consider is just talk to him about it. If he realy loves you and you realy love him then you should be able to have open lines of communication. Not really sure what the signs are cuz i have only had 1 bf, and as far as i know he never cheated on me so that is all i can really tell you. Hope I Helped

I found out that quite a few classmates of mine have tried marijuana or weed. This really shocked me because I didn't think highschoolers did that sort of thing, or that drugs were even available. They told me that the drugs really aren't that bad, that they're actually safer than cigarettes, and that they aren't addictive. Are they right? How many highschoolers do drugs usually? Am I naive to have believed that? (link)

yes you were naive, but parents are the same way so don't worry about that part. Drugs are VERY addictive, i have a couple friends that had trouble with drugs, im not saying that it is impossible to quit, cuz that would be a lie, but it is still hard to do. Alot of highschoolers mess around w/ drugs, usually drinking and cigarettes though. Hope i helped

if you already know that you are going to break up with him then tell him what my bf told me, he was like, we arn't able to talk or see eachother anymore and i just don't think that i want to go out any more. I still want to be friends with you, but i don't want to be an "item" and i was cool with that. and you can't blame yourself about sobody elses suicidal actions. abviously there is something else. i was considering doing the same thing to my room. I am going to have my mom paint a siloute (sp?) of a tree on an island on the wall right across from my door then like a sunset around it, then the rest of my walls will be yellow. i want to make a type of tiki torch that will actually hold candals and hang them on the walls around my bedroom. I WANT to put my bed in storage and sleep on a hammock for a while (not sure if that is going to happen) then like some bamboo drapes, you know those beeds that people hang in the door frames? they have something like that, but it is made of "bamboo" i also thought about getting some blow up palm trees from dollar general or something like that just to make the room more fun. I hope that you will be able to take some of these ideas and use them in your own unique way.

Ask her to go out and do something with her, say it isn't a date it is 2 friends hanging out, and just talk to her ask her questions about her life tell her things about your life. I think face to face conversations are better when you are trying to get to know sombody. Go bowling, eat dinner, roller skate, ice skate, something, i wouldn't recomend a movie as you can't talk while you are watching it, but maybe at the end of the date that isn't really a date you can ask her out again. Okay so i have this boyfriend and we've been dating for about a month and a few days .. and we both really like eachother obviously. but there is a problem. its hard for us to talk to eachother! its not that we don't want to. and we both have tons in common. but it gets to be akward sometimes when we're hanging out with our friends. we hardly speak to eachother. and we use the fact that "we're just talking to our friends" as an excuse for not talking to eachother.
But he is so funny and probably the sweetest guy i've ever met. And we talk online a lot. And when we sit and watch a movie we cuddle and all of that stuff and we both love it and everything. It's really the communication that is the issue. But he's not such a big talker to begin with, even with his friends, which makes it even harder. He's pretty laid back. And that's cool because I am too. But i have my crazy moments and i know he does too because i've been told. my friend said that she was hanging out with him and some other people before i came over and he was off the wall. but when i came he hardly talked at all. well at least not to me. and he acted totally normal. I want him to be comfortable acting silly and crazy around me. Or at least be able to talk about random stuff with me. If my friends ask him why he's hardly talking to me he uses the excuse "im tired". But i know that can't always be true.
I think the main problem is we're bad at starting conversations. And when we do.. they don't last very long..
My friends think i should break up with him if he can't get his act together. But i know that he is trying because of the little things that he does.
And i really don't want to break it off. At all.
Idk.. maybe it's my fault too? Maybe I should start trying to talk more. But i don't know what to say or do.. and if were hanging out i want him to know that he can put his arm around me and hug me at random moments and stuff.. not just when were watching a movie. and i know that he wants to do stuff like this. but how do i let him know that it's okay?
I need him to know that he can be totally open around me. But I don't know how.

so me and my bf were the same way, he wanted me to do all the talking. Talk about common interests. Ask him questions to get to know him better. While you are hanging with your friends just give him a big hug and hold his hand, that will let him know that you are ok with it. Most guys don't want to make a good relation-ship go down the tubes just for something silly, alot of guys know that MOST girls want to take it slowly, and guys are the same way, it just takes a while for them to open up, i mean it took us a LONG time before we even started to hold hands/hug, and 4 months later we still haven't even kissed (and never will cuz he broke up w/ me last night) but anyway i hope that this helped

Ok, that makes since, i just got out of a relationship (yea he dumped me) but anyway, we are still friends, we have 2 classes together, our lockers are right by eachother, and we are on the same soccer team. It is just like it was before we started going out. we get along just fine. Just strait up talk to him about it. Tell him hey, i want to go out with you, but if/when we break up i don't want things to be awqward (sp?) between us. He will prolly understand. That is how my last relationship went, and i think that thought crosses every body's mind when they start a relationship, will we still be able to be friends if we break up. I hope that i helped

I like yellow, it contrasts w/ the bluish grey background (at least that is what we have and yours sounded the same) It brings out your skin color and makes you look darker and brings out your eyes (at least it does mine, but mine are blue) I personally have a 6th grade pic that i absolutly LOVE and i am wearing a striped blue shirt (different shades of blue) and it looks really good and pulls out the darkish skin color that i have.

I think something that is really cute (my friend did this for her bf's bday) And it is quite inexpenceve (sp?) but he liked MU so she bought him an MU cup and then filled it full of hersheys kisses and gave it to him with a cute little card she made. Not sure what you are looking for but if you are looking for something cute yet fairly reasonably priced it is something that i would consider

SLEEP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yea, that is what i wished that i could do before school started for us (we started today) and that is what i missed the most. I had to the 2 days before school started so i was kinda sleep deprived. I would just do things that you like to do, hang with friends, go to the pool, have a watter balloon/just water fight. etc. use your imagination hope i helped

Well the same thing happened to my dad's and the surrounding keys stoped working, for us we never found anything that we could do, so we had to buy another one :( there may be some way, but we deffinatly couldn't find one. Sorry but i hope that i helped
