I think something that is really cute (my friend did this for her bf's bday) And it is quite inexpenceve (sp?) but he liked MU so she bought him an MU cup and then filled it full of hersheys kisses and gave it to him with a cute little card she made. Not sure what you are looking for but if you are looking for something cute yet fairly reasonably priced it is something that i would consider

well.. if he likes video games then definately get some.. but you say he likes basketball. so maybe you could get tickets for a college game... or you could get him something with the seahawks name on it.. lol... well... i hope i helped.

-- Baskbetball stuff.
-- A basketball net for his room.
-- Clothes (pants or a shirt - maybe in green.)
-- Chocolate.
-- Christmas candies.
-- Make him homemade Christmas candies.
-- A movie.
-- A CD.
