Its a boything : all boys brag about how many girls theyve 'banged' when there hormones kicked in so when they get to highschool they feel ashamed if they dont live up to their manly stereotypical standards xx

Cuz they have their friends that they hang around, if they don't keep up a certian "status" than they could be considered "outcasts" and their friends would make fun of them. Guys are like really self concious about things like that. Hope i helped

They're embarrassed because everyone else isn't a virgin and they still are. So, they just say their not a virgin to fit in with the rest of crowd and to feel more 'manly' and in control. ♥

I am a guy. Guys don't like to admit they have never had sex. Most guys will lie about having sex with people saying they have and what not. They think that there friends will give them problems not physical but mentally. Guys love to brag if they had sex with a very hot girl and don't want to admit that they havn't.

Guys are so obsessed with bragging to their buddies about how they scored last night or whatever, if a guy ever admited to being a virgin, he'd get a lot of crap from the guys. So I think their solution is to just gloat whether they're lying or not.

Basically because having sex is cliched as being cool. (:rolls eyes:) And if a guy in a virgin, other guys consider him to be uncool.

physcilogically the answer would be that the media(society(tv, and movies and etc.)) projects the loss of virginity as a right of passage in modern times.

Guys are only embarassed of being a virgin because their social life. if someone found out about this guy being a virgin, his friends and peers would treat him differently. they only would treat him differently because they dont want other people to know that they are hanging out with a virgin.
