If you ever saw The Ring i would suggest Ringu which is the orginal Japeniese version. They speak in Japeniese but it has english subtitles.

TheOldOne answered Sunday August 28 2005, 8:13 pm: Some older ones:
The Thing (John Carpenter) - probably the single grossest movie ever made. Incredible effects. In one scene a guy's head pulls itself off his body and - well, you've got to see it.
Alien - very scary, you must have heard of this one.
Aliens - kind of a combo action/horror movie, but very intense.
Videodrome - not just horror, but really, really freaky. Makes you lose all sense of reality.
Re-Animator - Really funny, really creepy. One of my favorites. Definitely not for kids.
Canival of Souls - Extremely old black & white movie made by a guy who also made educational films for schools. And it's AMAZINGLY scary.
Nosferatu - Made in 1922, this is a silent movie. But it'll give you nightmares.

Laura answered Sunday August 28 2005, 7:10 pm: One of my favorites is called "Dead End", and it's about a family that is on this one incredibly long road while taking a vacation, and lots of freaky stuff happens. It's really good, but it has a LOT of cursing in it. I mean a lot.
Another good one is "White Noise"...it's hard to explain what that one is about, it's about a man that tries to communicate with the dead.
And of course "The Ring" and "The Ring 2" are both incredibly good...Um...that's all I can really think of. Hope that helps!
