middle skool nervousness
i know im 13 but ive been held back and now im starting middle skool. im really nervous. wut if the other kids dont like me, or if i dont fit in. wut if i get my classes mixed up and everyone makes fun of me? all u guys are in middle skool so PLEASE HELP!!!

First Of All You Have To Be Confident. Then You Have to think this is just any ordinary school nothing different just the grades and so on. There is no need to worry You Should be excited going to middle school because you make different friend. i would suggest studying the schedule before going to class and put another schedule in your locker ;)

I was in middle school before there were people who were bad but if they mess with you or pick on you tell the teacher but if it worsens things change your class if it's not just one person.Never stay quiet when that happens because they will continue to pick on you and do it to others like you.Bullies need to get therapy or go to boot camp!So try not to worry if you feel uncomfortable where you sit have your seat change where you do feel comfortable.You could also talk to the principal or the couselor or even your parents you could always count on them!

you really don't have to worry. middle school is never as hard as it seems. everyone is going what your going through. so they all know how you feel. and you'll most likly get a friend. pretty most everyone dos. just remember to be yourself. it well be okay

Middle school is so much better the elementary school. It is awesome. You meet so many new people and make so many new friends. Don't worry about getting your classes mixed up, all of the teachers help you alot. Just ask them a question if you don't understand. And when you are in homeroom the first day, just find a person that is in the same class as you. Follow them around. Also, introduce yourself to people. When they say to pick partners, don't picksomeone you know, ask someone else. You make so many new friends that way. If the other kids don't like you, you'll get through it. Just stay around with your other friends if you feel uncomfortable. Well, i hope this adivce helps and don't worry, middle school is awesome and ten times better than elementary school.

sounds as if your unsure of people liking you for who you are. My bet is if you make an effort to be all that you can be, you're going to have a great life. So what if you were set back. your parents and teacher(s) thought it would help you. Have you thought that maybe there will be kids you were friends with that will be glad to see you? Have you thought of visualizing everybody there in their underware? Try it, you'll be laughing inside and don't worry if a chuckle gets out, as it can get contagous and then others will see that you have a sense of humor. It's okay!! Everything is gonna be okay. I know how you feel, because last year, I moved to this new little country, I wasn't in your condition. My condition was way worse than yours. My first day of school was pathetic, I didn't have any friends, and no one wanted to talk to me. Wasn't it sad?? I think it was so sad. If I'm the one who is shy and don't know everything can make new friends, so can you!! I'm sure you'll fit in perfectly.Hope I helped!

hey calm down its just like regular school nothing new the school may be bigger and more classes then noraml but if you ever get lost or need help ask someone to help you find your way! my first year was scarry too trust me i thought the 8th and 7th graders were soo big and mean but if you just ask for help they can help you so much. and if you are too scared to ask a student ask a teacher i am sure most of them know where alot of classes are so if you trust them you can be ready for everything.i hope my advice helped even a little bit!!have funn and stay calm at middle school (trust me its not so bad)

i just graduated from middle school 2 months ago. you're overreacting... my first day of middle school was really great.. i met a lot of new people.. and it was just a really cool experience.
you dont know if people will like you or not... i mean.. it's not like EVERYONE'S going to hate you. even if some kids dont like you, you'll still be able to have some friends. and there are many social groups.. like the popular people.. the weirdos.. the smart kids.. the shy and quiet ones.. the really funny people/class clowns...yadda yadda yadda... you're sure to fit into a group. and even if you do get your classes mixed up.. not everyone will make fun of you. sure they'll laugh for a short while... but that's it. not everyone is immature and mean. there was this kid in my 8th grade class that kept going to the wrong social studies classroom.. it must've happened atleast 5 times.. and even though people laughed at him, he laughed along with us. it's better to laugh it off than just let everyone know how embarassed you are.
middle school was really fun for me.. and i'm really going to miss the people there. you should chill out and be more laid back.. that way you'll have time to actually enjoy the experience instead of being nervous and worrying all the time.

don't worry you'll be fine. everyone worries about that stuff before they start middle school, so it's ok. if you're really nice then people will want to be your friend. you'll fit in just fine.

I remember my first day of middle school, it was really awesome. You've got nothin to worry about. You'll meet new friends, switch pretty much every class, and have a grade like 4 times the size of your elementary school grade. Just be cool, and have fun. Good luck!

Well I'm in high school but I was pretty nervous when I started middle school too. First, make sure you get a tour of the school before the first day so you know where all your classes are. Plus teachers are pretty lenient for the first few days of school. They know you're just getting used to it and it's hard to get to your classes on time at first. Don't worry about people not liking you. Just be really friendly and smile whenever you meet new people. You'll make friends really fast. Have a great school year!

Aw thats something EVERYONE worries about! I remember when I was going to sixth grade! I was lost and nervous! I`m nervous every year. Dont worry thought. If you are nice, and outgoing people will def. like you and you will make tons of friends! You just need to say hi and talk to them. This is my last year so I`m glad and all the worries I had I just think back and I`m like woah.. I was worrying way to much! Just relax and have fun. Sign up for sports and thats how you will meet even more new people. Good luck babe!

dear, you'll be fine. really. you won't get your classes mixed up. and yes, you might possibly get made fun of, but that is middle school. Just stick up for yourself (in a reasonable way), and you'll be fine. be yourself, don't change for anyone, and have fun!
