I've gone through a lot of changes in the past year and have become genuinely stronger and improved as a person, but there's still one thing I really hate about myself.
I'm completely, hopelessly addicted to the internet. I have been for a really long time now. Some times are better than others, but right now is one of the bad spots. I guess it's not as bad as I make it sound. I have a healthy social life; I don't ditch people to hang out on the internet, but it's still bad. I sometimes spend hours doing useless stuff on here when I could be reading a book or doing SOMETHING better.
I never tried to fix this because I never knew where to start. How do I do it? I can't just... shut off the computer. A lot of times I actually need it for school, but then I'll be doing school stuff and be lured into it, and it's not quite that easy, as addictions are never very simple to overcome. I don't want to completely stop going on IM. I just can't seem to have the will power to moderate it like others. I tell myself that I'm not going on the internet but lo and behold an hour later that's where I'll be.

o gosh i have the same problem. my grades lowered a little bit. and my parents dont really like me getting on the comp cause they thnk it will affect my eyesight. well what i think you should do is read a good book and have a little time limit such as 1-2 hours broken up into different times such as 0-45 mintures heare to there adding up to appx total of 1-2 hours. yea i know its addicting but maybe. to keep you occupied you can talk on the phone play a board game look through a magazine. there are so many things to do. once in a while you can go hang with friends . and go get some fresh air and talk a stroll outside. yea i know for some reason im giving this advice and im not doing it myself. but im just saying
it might affect your grades in college because you know you . you should be studying doing homework and getting more social since its a bigger area.

I am 13 and in 8th grade and have never had a boyfriend. I think I'll be able to manage one better when I get to high school. Is it a turn-off to guys if you've never had a boyfriend before? I need to know, thanks.

no, i dont think its a turn-off i mean ..so what you didnt have a boyfriend before it doesnt matter,maybe its not your time for one yet.i dont think it will matter to guys that you didnt have a boyfriend.they should love you for you.love is not a contest to see how many guys or girls you get. you have to give it some time.

I was wondering if anyone can help me make a plan of when to change "supplies" during my school schedule. I'm only in middle school, so no one uses purses yet. There's also this one girl who ALWAYS searches my pencil case to find gum and whatnot so I can't use my pencil case! I go to my locker before lunch time, and in past situations I have picked up a purse in which I put a pad in. But, I hate using purses because its SO obvious that when you carry a purse to the bathroom, you have your period!! I don't know any other ways! I don't want to buy anything at school because the dispncers have the worst brands. My tampon can not last ALL day and I'm a little scared to use jumbo because im sure they're hard to insert and other stuff. If anyone wants to contradict this idea please do so! I need some ideas! well if its middle school then it doesnt really matter that you have your period because there are definatly other girls that have their period too. and you can also try going to the nurse. and Carrying a purse to the bathromo doesnt excatly mean that you have your period i see many girls they bring their purse to fix their makeup or w/e. and anyways everyone gets their period so its not like you should feel embarrassed of it. i suggest a PAD instead ?

Hey has anyone seen SAW 2? Can anyone tell me if it was scary? like REALLY scary? Or what about SAW 1? was that one scary? like REALLY REALLY scary, like would it make a girl cry? Cause i guy just asked me to see saw II..and i wanna say something like " o wow, you're gonna have to sit pretty close to me cause i cried my eyes out during the first one ;)" or just..cause the first one freaked me out..or whatever. Just to flirt a little you know =) So can anyone just tell me briefly what it was about??

well i saw SAW1 and i am not going to see SAW2 and not planning on to. the first one was a little stupid my mother even said that. and you really have to pay attention to the movie to get it. if you miss one scene you are like automatically Lost and confused for the rest of the Movie. it doesnt look that good but i think it will be better than the first one

(SORRY IF THIS IS LONG ILL RATE HIGH) well there is this kid who i think he might like me like he really acts like it sometimes.. like sometimes he'll come over to me and just like kick me just kiddingly... or like he'll tackle me and make me fall into snow also just kiddingly (when there is snow obviously) well i dont know because a lot of my friends think he likes me because the way he acts around me.. and i asked one of his friends and he said he acts flirty and smiley.. which he does around me i thought thats just the way he was but i guess not... but he told one of my friends that he only liked me as a friend... is he lying? does he like me or just want to be friends? help please.. ill rate high! same thing happened to me this boy flirts with me alot too and fools around like hitting me etc. i assume he likes you but i am not certain to me it sounds like it ...but i have the same problem so there is a possibility he doesnt..maybe he thinks of you as a nice kind friend he can talk to and play around with

Well maybe he wants to know because maybe he likes you ! or not ...boys are very confusing so just tell him Im not telling you until you see maybe he likes you back for example flirting and still asking you the same question over and over again :) or you can just tell him you like him.

no i personally think that if you ask a friend to ask for you it shows the boy your not confident enough to go up to him. which is kind of bad....so i suggest have a long conversation with him and then mention it but slowly

ok what should i do if someones mad at me for a gayass reason and you really dont wanna be mad at that person but ...... you feal like you wanna rip their heads off. the problem was that these 2 girls thought i copied there hairstyle, and other stuff. but i really didnt, i didnt even see them when i styled my hair like that. its a really common hairstyle so thats a stupid reason to be mad.

Okay, my mom is practiclly forcing me to go to homecoming. I really don't want to go, because I don't have a date, and theres no guy I would feel comfortable going with. But the problem is that she already saved up all this money for a dress and accessories and shoes and she is looking at things like hairstylists. I don't know how to tell her that I just don't care and that I don't want to go. Help me please!! I rate high!
