Is it a turn-off?

Question Posted Monday December 5 2005, 8:47 pm

I am 13 and in 8th grade and have never had a boyfriend. I think I'll be able to manage one better when I get to high school. Is it a turn-off to guys if you've never had a boyfriend before? I need to know, thanks.

I give fives.

Well, personally at my school, I don't think anyone at my school cares. But, just don't make it seem like your a lesbian or anything and flirt with the guys you like and stuff like that. And sometimes its better to be single, so don't worry about it!

not really. here is a little undiscovered fact about guys. they like a challenge if you have never had a boyfriend, guys would see you as a major challenge b/c they will all fight to be your first boyfriend. trust i've been there done that and bought the tee shirt!

Okay, first of all i am 13, 8th grade, and never had a boyfriend. So I know what your feeling. I really think that our lonliness has nothing to do with if we will get guys in the future. I think that they really don't care. I think some may like it because they may think we could be easy. And others could not like it because we are not experienced. But I think most guys dont care. And if your really that worried about it... what a guy doesnt know, doesnt hurt him. ;)

This is my own opinion but I really think that its not. If a guy likes you he should like by who you are and not by your history in dating.Having no history and history in dating doesn't change anything to how you feel about that person. And you will manage bf in high school or even now. Just don't ever think of something like that. Tell me how it goes.

Hmm, no, I don't think it's a turn off at all, some girls think it's more appropriate to date when they get in high school, it's not a turn off, maybe you're just not ready or commited to being in a relationship right now, i'm still in 8th grade too. So I know how you feel, but I've had a few boyfriends before, good luck sweetie.

Having a boyfriend doesn't mean you'll be taken to a service center to make sure you're up to specs.

It's not something that has a positive or negative effect. It's just a fact.

For some guys, yeah it is a turn-off. But other guys like to have a girl who is inexperienced so that he can look like an expert. Guys who think it's a turn-off think along the lines of "she definately won't get in bed with me." And some guys really don't give a sh!t.

No, it's not a big turn off at all to guys!
13 is still young anyways, you don't want to date the whole world anyways! lol.

So, don't worry about if you haven't had a boyfriend yet.
I was the same way, I didn't really date anyone in Elementary because one I wanted to wait til High School and two because I knew all the guys since I was little! So, it would be like dating a brother haha.

&& plus, once you get into High School, you have a better selection of guys to pick out.
So, for now, just have fun! && don't worry about it that you haven't had a boyfriend yet, a lot of girls haven't!!

I hope this helps and if you need help with anything else, just leave a message in my inbox.
