I can't get over him

Question Posted Monday December 5 2005, 8:48 pm

(sorry it's so long, but its worth reading.)

There's this guy that I have been madly in love with since like, July 2005. Every damn day I think about him more & more, and I want him more & more everytime I think about him. The thing is, is that he's too old for me, and I will never get him because...*tear* He's David Desrosiers. I know, you think I'm just in puppy love. I don't think so. I have NEVER felt this way EVER! I love him sooo much, I HATE HIM. I've been getting jealous easier, and I've been getting mad at my freinds for talking about guys to me. It makes me feel so bad. ***I am extremely self concious, and I guarentee that I don't have the nicest body. I've been gaining weight really fast, and I don't know if it is because I am in love with someone I'm not supossed to be. Am I depressed? I don't think so, but yeah. My friend came up to me and said to get the fuck over him, and that I looked pregnant in the outfit I was in. She isn't very supportive, and I really love this guy. I don't like his looks as much I I like his point of view, his personality, his usage of words, and little things like that. I appreciate anything I can get, and I appreciate him the most. BUT I CNA'T HAVE HIM :( I rate high!

Well maybe you eat when your sad.. have heard about people like that...i eat when i am bored...but do you excersise??...wellz only thing i can say is do anything that will stop you from thinking about him so much... like go for really long walks or something just to get your mind off him for a little bit anyways...If she was your true friend she would support you not make fun of you. Dont listen to people like that who are making you feel bad about your size...it could just be your matabolizim is changed or its just a phase your going through there are many reasons you could be gaining weight...but just keep eating healthy, and getting excersise...Well hope i have somewhat helped good luck

Hey, this thing happens to you is something normal and happens to a lot of girls. But you are from the ones that dare to say it.
Sorry for saying it but your friend is an idiot! She is not even a friend. She should support you, not make you feel worse. You should do sth to have much more self confidence. #1 From now on start eating a little bit healthier. #2 Try to start a hobby that you like and a hobby that will make you feel happy. For example dance or volleyball. #3 Stop having friends like her #4Go out more often #5 Smile!!! #6 Think that weird things happen to love and go in the places where he appears(according to the magazines)#7 Try to find someone new#8 To manage the previous one let your big love a little bit and look around #9 If you like, only like someone(outward appearance is enough) find out what type of boy he is and start talk to him more #10 Think about you and the new one and what happens between you tow and what you would like to happen and let the old one!
By doing these things you will manage to like the new boy more than the old one.
P.S. I don't think what happens to you is depression! It is just love! Remember to smile this will help you. Then, look at yourself in the mirror and believe that you are one and unique and you deserve a lot of things! Believe in it, believe in you!!! Kisses!

First of all I would like to tell you that you are not alone. I have been in love before with men that I couldnt have and it is the most painfull thing a person could go through. I couldnt have my man because he was married. I was totally in love with him.

I think that your "friend" is being a complete bitch. What a mean thing to say about you looking pregnant!! I would distance myself from her and find some real friends who have more understanding of what your'e going through.

Yes, I believe you are suffering from depression. But depression is curable, trust me I would know. I've been on several anti-depressants. Talk to your doctor about this. As for your weight gain, I would suggest joining a gym and starting on a diet. If you can't afford joining a gym, you can start walking (it's free). I always listen to music on my discman, which makes me want to walk longer and faster.

I know the pain if unbearable right now, but like everything else in life this too shall pass. Hang in there and believe in yourself. You will survive this, I promise.
