Okay so my school is putting on a play and I tried out Wednesday. Well today my teacher/director asked me if I wanted to be the assistant director. I immediately thought I bombed the audition but she said she could tell I wanted to learn and thought it would be good to learn about it from someone she thought could teach me well (her). Incase you don’t know what an assistant director does; they help the director out with things to help the play go over smoothly and what not. And that's where my problem comes in. I really would like to help her out, but I fear that the cast members won’t take me seriously or they'll hate me or take advantage of me (because I can’t be very mean). I don’t exactly get respect from other cast members. And I feel stupid when I "lecture" them. I also don’t want to disappoint my teacher. I don’t want to accept the role and then not come through for her or screw up and embarrass myself in front of everyone. So what do ya'll think? Should I tell my teacher yes or no?
Also: Any other advice you may have about how to handle any of the situations or if you have a comment about anything I mentioned, please don’t hold back. I'm open to ANYTHING.
I would say yes, i personally think you would have a great time its ok if you can't be mean...for some people its really hard to do. when you dont get respect dont necissarily lecture them just be like hey you can't treat me like this ( you got to stand up for you self ) but getting this chance is like a one chance thing...it would be crazy for you not to accept it. plus if they really give you that hard of a time you can talk to the teacher/director person.

well i know how that feels...lol..and its not a nice feeling...well i think that you shouldn't freak until monday, when you find out if the teacher knows or not...keep your mind on other things and dont think of the problem in mind. if on monday he does know then you get yelled at and are in major trouble with everyone.. not good but it..hopefully he doesnt say anything.

Okay tonight i was suposed to go see a movie with my boyfriend and some of his friends. By the way Im 15 and hes 16. The movie was rated R and I told him to get his parents to go ahead and get them in advance. But he didnt take my advice we get there and we buy tickets to another movie. I feel like sometimes i just wanna curl up ina ball and die. I mean I have friends but i dont really have friends. I mainly hang out with guys and im a girl and its not right at all .. I know lots of people have friends of the opposite sex but i just feel like im hated so much. Its like i see all these girls with such close friends and i dont have girls like that . Omg my mom just found out this morning she was pregnant. Since I'm an only child, I don't know what to expect. Can anyone tell me what will begin to happen when the baby is born and gets into its toddler years? We're obviously not sure what sex it is yet. Also, she's going to the doctor on Tuesday.

Okay well every year around this time of year (December, winter time...) I ALAWYS get sick and I mean sick to my stomach. It's usually the only time of the year I get this sick. Anyway that's not really the point. I was wondering is there anything I can do right now. Lately it's just been dry heeves (sp?) I mean I've thrown up once since about 8-8:15 which was about 8:45 and that's only because I didn't care, I was really thirsty so I drank some Ginger Ale right after throwing up. But is there any thing I can eat or drink that shouldn't upset my stomach too much, and right now it's about 10 minutes to 9 and the last time I threw up was 8:45 because I drank something but technically not including the dry heeves which every once in a while left me with a little bit of regurgitation, was like 7:30. 7:45.
Yeah so just how long should I wait and what type of foods or beverages would be best to have. I'll just go with it's been about 15 minutes since I last threw up... thanks, sorry it's gross.
well .. when i was just recently sick i drank alot and i mean alot of water cuz it didnt hurt me as much like of the dry ... so drink lots of water, and eat chicken noddle soup i know its kinda kiddy but it helped me feel better and it also helped me keep the food and water down while doing this take tylnol to keep fever down and stay in bed or on the couch and cover up with a blanket but keep you feet out from under the blanket ...hope you feel better ..good luck

My mom caught me smoking weed around three months ago, and I'm STILL grounded, even though she does it.
Well, a little over two months ago my mom came home from a party high and extremely drunk, and piss, and depressed, and, long story short, attempted suicide and spent 5 days in a hospital. I don't know how I stayed grounded though all of that, but I still am. I get random UAs too. I was thinking tonight that I could gather up some money, some stuff, and run away from home. I'd keep in contact with my family, and not come back until they'd stop with the UA stuff, because I don't think it's right that I get my schoolwork done and then smoke responsibly on the side, and she gets drunk and high and does crazy shit and has a crappy job. If I ran away, I would have shelter. should I do it now? wait till after Christmas? Not do it?

i'm a junior and guy. my friends usually like to have parties or get togethers, and i usually can't go because something comes up or i have other plans. with this group of friends, they are good guys, generally stay out of trouble, but the one day i couldn't go, i decided not to because i had to work on a project. the next day i heard one of the guys was rushed into a hospital because he was drinking too much. i dont like drinking, never have, and would like not to. so if they do invite me to a get together, should i just decline? i don't want to be left out of the loop, but personally i don't like drinking, don't really mind if others do though. what should i do...avoid it completely? will rate
well if you dont feel like you personally want to go then ya sure decline..but just remember just because you do go doesnt always mean you have to drink if you want you could bring your own drinks but still go..but if you dont want to then dont..hope i have helped

ok i have diabtes (type 1, im not overweight or anything) and im a little shy about it well i mean i dont like telling ppl about it. only my close friends know about it and some other people who i didnt want to find out about having it. my friends think that its stupid that i dont tell people and they say if they had it they would have no problem telling ppl. but they dont have it so they dont know. its easier to say then do. are they right, should i not be so shy about it?

well it's all to your comfort level if you dont want to you don't have to..it all depends on what you want to do..your friends have no say in this, this is your personal matter and nobody else really needs to know about it until you start like seriously dating someone...or married..but other than that nobody really needs to know your personal stuff...hope i have helped

I've been having a sore throat for about 3 days now... Is there any ways to make it go away? It feels like I'm always trying to clear my throat but I can't. Should I just drink a lot of water? I can't sleep because it feels like I can't breathe.
Well there are a couple tips you can do...well you can: Do a salt water gargle(take hot but not too hot of water mix with lots of salt and gargle for a while, you can go get cough drops, you can do a mouth wash gargle, take cough medicine...these are a few tips i do when i get a sore through good luck and hope you feel better soon..oo and use vicks vapour rub on your neck good luck

well first off, it's normal to "do" more things with your best guy friend then with your boyfriend..see this reminds me of an experience i went through..see i was going out with this guy devin and had been like 2-3 months and all me and him did was hold hands and thats it..but i had this best friend joel and me and him like hugged everytime we saw each other and it felt like devin was jealous..see my thing was i dont know why exactly but i felt more comfotable hugging joel then i did with devin cause i was nervous.. if this is some what close to what your feeling just tell your boy friend that you are nervous with him because you like him so much but yet with your guy friend you dont feel the same because you don't like him like that...just kind of explain it like that and if he still rejects you and what ever leave him..i know you don't want to but if he gets jealous over you hugging your guy friend even when you explain it then he isn't worth your time because he doesn't want to give you the time of day type of thing...well i hope i have helped good luck byebye

There's this guy that I have been madly in love with since like, July 2005. Every damn day I think about him more & more, and I want him more & more everytime I think about him. The thing is, is that he's too old for me, and I will never get him because...*tear* He's David Desrosiers. I know, you think I'm just in puppy love. I don't think so. I have NEVER felt this way EVER! I love him sooo much, I HATE HIM. I've been getting jealous easier, and I've been getting mad at my freinds for talking about guys to me. It makes me feel so bad. ***I am extremely self concious, and I guarentee that I don't have the nicest body. I've been gaining weight really fast, and I don't know if it is because I am in love with someone I'm not supossed to be. Am I depressed? I don't think so, but yeah. My friend came up to me and said to get the fuck over him, and that I looked pregnant in the outfit I was in. She isn't very supportive, and I really love this guy. I don't like his looks as much I I like his point of view, his personality, his usage of words, and little things like that. I appreciate anything I can get, and I appreciate him the most. BUT I CNA'T HAVE HIM :( I rate high!

im 16/f ,,, I do not have acne or pimples, ThankGod, but for some reason in the past year my skin has gotten quite yellowish. I use be to fairskin but now it seems YELLOW/BROWNISH!!! so how do i get it to be glowing, vibrant and lighter again? help me plzzz ive been eating apples, and drinkin water..and eating healthy but ughh
well havinf your skin turn yellow is one sign of a bladder infection..but if that's not whats going on i dont think there is anything that would turn your skin back to the original colour sorry...byebye

OK, here it goes. I just started high school and by a few days in, I had made a few new friends. One friend added me to a huge conversation over msn and I met this guy. I added him to my msn and now we talk pretty often... Only over msn though. I rarely see him at school, he has a totally different group of friends and is only in one of my classes. Even though I don't talk to him in person much, I feel like he's a friend. I don't know how I should act now, because there are some things you can say to friends but not to other people. Should I treat him like a friend?
Well technically he is your friend if you guys talk alot over msn..i concider all the people i talk to over msn my friends specially the ones that live on the other side of the world from me. so ya concider him a friend or ask him his opinion. if you ask his opinion you will find out if he conciders you a friend and u will also get your answer.
