exton answered Saturday July 30 2005, 5:03 pm: When a man of his age is attracted to a young woman of your age over women his own age, it's a psychological disorder called "pedophilia." And when you have sex, it's called "rape." I don't know about other places, but in my state of Massachusetts, he could be sent to prison for the rest of his life. Mackenzie answered Saturday July 30 2005, 4:03 pm: Well, it *IS* illegal. While it's NOT something I would encourage, it's something I would ALSO DO, so I won't sit here and lecture. You KNOW right from wrong, and if you DIDN'T know BEFORE that this relationship was "wrong".. you've been told plenty of times here. Ultimately though.. it's YOUR decision..... just make it wisely. Ryan_10 answered Saturday July 30 2005, 3:48 pm: yes your concideres wat i like to call a low teen. Your only 2 more years older then when you were from a teenager. Im not sure but i think you can go to jail for that. Like if you go out with him i think you can go to jail. When your 20 then its ok for almost everyhing
VanityScore answered Saturday July 30 2005, 3:36 pm: Well, the law says it is, so I'm gonna go with that.
He can't find any girls his own age, ey? That means he's either a pervert, or there's something wrong with him. Steer clear of guys like that, because most of the time alls they want is sex. It's exciting to date an older guy, but it's also dangerous.
Teen_Guru answered Saturday July 30 2005, 2:59 pm: Like peanut butter in your water, not only dose it mean that the guy is most likely no good (if he is dating someone that far his age. it usually in tells that he can't get a date with someone closer to his own age) but it is also Illegal (look at Michel Jackson thing)!
Both things are bad news and can cause serious problem!
23xoTinkerBelleox32 answered Saturday July 30 2005, 2:55 pm: that is a little weird... i mean hes 1O years older then you.. isnt that a little weird, like he's graduated college (hopefully) and you havent even graduated high school? Yes, its weird, the older you get though (3Os,4Os,5Os) the less the age gap matters.. so come back to him later.. like 10 - 20 years.. haha

karenR answered Saturday July 30 2005, 2:27 pm: yes it is as you've heard from the others. Do you not wonder why a 25 year old would be so interested in someone so much younger? You have to consider why he is unable to find friends his own age. [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]
FunnyCide answered Saturday July 30 2005, 2:20 pm: Actually, it is. You're a minor and he's a legal adult. If you were to do anything sexual with him, he could be arrested. I don't suggest doing sexual things with guys until you're married anyway, but alot of people do it anyway. Besides, he's 10 years older than you and with age comes (almost always) maturity, smarts, and wisdom. Not to say that you aren't mature or smart or wise, but he's alot older than you. And is he using you? Be sure that he's not. Though since it is pretty illegal... you might wanna talk to him about breaking up. It's only three years till you'll be a legal adult. But as long as you and he are comfortable together and are not doing anything sexual, it is perfectly legal. *shrug*

ncblondie answered Saturday July 30 2005, 2:17 pm: It is against the law and he could get in trouble for being with you, especially if you're having sex.
If your relationship is pretty much sex only with nothing else, I would worry that he was using you.
I disagree with what someone else said about a 10 year age difference being huge. My husband is more than 10 years older than me (I'm 23) but I never set an age limit on love.
I do agree with what netsirk07 said in that you should wait to continue the relationship until you're a little older, at least 18. That way he won't get in trouble. [ ncblondie's advice column | Ask ncblondie A Question ]
qotsa369 answered Saturday July 30 2005, 2:15 pm: Its only 'wrong' if your having sex. And plus there would have to be something wrong with a 25 year old guy to want to date a 15 year old girl (not trying to say anything bad about you) its just he should find girls his own age, and not someone 10 years younger, its kinda weird. beachhun101 answered Saturday July 30 2005, 2:10 pm: sry to say but it is. most likely he is using you, maybe not, i dont know your situation. but a 10 year age difference is huge, especially when you are 15. you might want to take other peoples advice and date someone more around your age. no more than 18, because if you date someone 18 or older and they do something to you that you report, its considered "date rape." i hope everything works out! netsirk07 answered Saturday July 30 2005, 2:06 pm: well yeah it is. i think you should wait until your like 23 and he's 33 because then it would look better. sorry but think of this. a 5 year old dating you. lol scary i know.

jbdreamer answered Saturday July 30 2005, 2:03 pm: Actually it's against the law. You are under legal age. If you do anything sexual with him, he could be arrested for it. Or if he takes you somewhere, and your parents disaprove. He could be arrested for that as well. It would be considered abduction, even if you went willingly. You are too young to be in a relationship with an adult. [ jbdreamer's advice column | Ask jbdreamer A Question ]
