K3587 answered Wednesday March 2 2005, 8:57 pm: It's a diversion from drugs. Something you do in place of doing drugs, or something that keeps you from them. Maybe instead of doing drugs, you sing. In my case, poverty is my anti-drug. [ K3587's advice column | Ask K3587 A Question ]
gessyka answered Wednesday March 2 2005, 7:53 pm: An anti-drug is something that keeps you from want to doing drugs, or something that keeps you away from the "wrong crowd".
It's like say someone asked you if you wanted a cigarette..and you were like "no lets just play some basketball instead of smoking." That would mean that basketball is kinda like your anti-drug..get it?
azngemini answered Wednesday March 2 2005, 7:46 pm: it means that it's something that keeps them from doing drugs. i saw one that said that music was their anti drug, and that means that they love music and it's their reason for staying away from drugs.
it basically just means that they really love something or love doing something [ azngemini's advice column | Ask azngemini A Question ]
SilencedMisfit answered Wednesday March 2 2005, 7:21 pm: "Music is my anti-drug." All that means is that instead of doing drugs, the person practices music, or loves music. "Sports are my anti-drug." Instead of doing drugs, this person does sports. Get it? hope i helped!:)

S_C answered Wednesday March 2 2005, 7:18 pm: It's saying that's what they're doing instead of drugs. Like some people have dancing as their anti-drug saying that instead of doing drugs, they dance, and that they'd rather dance than do drugs. Like for me, basketball, my anti-drug. I like basketball more than drugs, and basketball is fun, and I'd rather do it than drugs any day, even if I'm not AWESOME at it, I can still shoot pretty good shots and stuff, but that's besides the point, the point is, beasketball has more appeal to me than drugs. Hope this answered your question. [ S_C's advice column | Ask S_C A Question ]
Karen answered Wednesday March 2 2005, 7:17 pm: This means that this is one of the things that they do that helps them stay away from drugs and not do them. "Anti" means against so if your anti-drug is softball, for example, it means that you enjoy playing this sport and not doing drugs.
