Is it normal to be best friends with a girl you've known for half-a year?? This girl and I met in eighth grade this year, and I've become very attached to her. We're both best friends and we tell each other everything. We're like sisters. Is that normal to be this close after a short time??

Me and my best friend like just started being best friends this year and we have known each other since like 3rd or 4th grade and just this year started talking and everything we have Soo much fun together well, maybe too much!! hehe but we have been best friends since the beging of 8th grade!

yeah! thats totally normal- the best friend i've ever had i just met this year! i've seen her before but i just started to get to know her at the beginning of this year and she really is the best friend that ive ever had- it's just whoever you have the best time with and you dont have to know them for years for that to happen.

Sometimes people just click. Last year, I met these two girls and we became best friends after two days. It's fine to be best friends already, it's good that you've found someone who you really get along with. Just remember, don't leave your other friends behind, make sure you keep them and don't abandon them for this new girl.

Sure, why not? You can be close with someone after knowing them for a day! There is nothing weird or wrong with being close to your gal after half a year...that's great that you've found such a good friend that you can depend on and trust. im happy for you and i wish you the best of luck.

You can be best friends in any amount of time.I became best friends with one of my friends in like a month! So yeah, it's normal, you dont have to be so worried about it. Have fun!

I became friends with my best friend in like a month. And we are like sisters too. We basicly are. We have been friends for like two years this month. Plus me and my boyfriend started going out within a month of meeting each other and we're in love now after 4 months. Hope this helps.
