I have mad wavy hair and its really poofy sometimes not to mention frizzy. My birthday is coming up in a few days and i was thinking of getting it straightened because it would probably look better. What is everyones opinion on this because some people told me that it drys out your hair and makes it fall out? Is that true? (link)

i would not straighten ur hair. that is true. it does dry it out and it does fall out. i have the same kind of hair. EXACTLY the same. what i do is straiten it when i have the time and really want to. i bought a straitening iron and thats what i use.

I am a 15/female and am redoing my bedroom (besides my furniture.) The furniture I currently have is like a beige color. My carpet is also beige and my walls are bare and white. My room is fairly large. Right now the design is like roses, but not cute ones, like old lady roses. I want to make the room more teenagerish, less my parents designing it when I was in second grade. Please, any ideas for my room or if you are a teenage girl, could you tell me what your room is like. All advice would be enjoyed! Thank you!! (link)

hey, my room is purple and lime green. i wouldnt do bright colors. you get sick of them really fast. i would also go and find a bed spred first and then find your colors.

my bedroom tends to gets really messy.There is not enough closet space for all my clothes & not enough storage space for all my belongings. my room isn't that big and i need some ideas on how i could organize my stuff. any ideas are really appreciated. thanks so much!!

Shoe boxes for the little things. i have make up and nail polish and things like that that i put in shoe boxes. u can keep them neatly under your bed or in you closet. There are those nice totes that i use too. for things that you want to keep but dont want to have on shelves. i have a dresser in my bedroom and have a junk drawer in it and i put things on top of it.

ok...i broke up with my boyfriend (16) and im 15. hes a sophmore im a freshman. hes telling every one at school that he dumped me because i was cheating on him...he also told everyone i was a slutty hore! Which is totally not true! I garentee that if you looked at me..you wouldn't think im slutty. I mean i went out with him for a little over a month and ALL we did was kiss,...twice no longer than three seconds! that doesn't seem very slutty to me! So anyways... he keeps calling me at night saying that he still loves me and cares about me and still wants to be with me! But I no what he is saying is a bunch of bull because he couldn't feel that way about me and then make up all that crap at school! But he swears hes not lying. Hes getting really annoying...but im the type of girl that hates not being friends after a breakup...when i dumped him i told him that we would still be friends and i keep my promises unlike him! But its really hard! Im trying to be the mature one about this! But i can't be friends with someone who could make up horrible lies like that but...i want him to no that im better than that, that i didn't let it get to me! what do i do? how do i tell him t cool off otherwise i can't be his friend? (and i can't just say it like that because i think thats too mean! :/)

okay so i have this boyfriend, and i love him soooo much! he is my life pretty much. all i ever think about is him and he's everything i've ever needed and wanted! anyways, he used to tell me he loved me like all the time, now he seldom does. he says it's because everytime he told me, i'd say ok..i love you too.. but that i didn't believe him. so lately i've been telling him i love him, and he says i love you too. but i dont know there's something changed, we don't talk as much, he doesn't call me nearly as much as he used to, but we promised e/o that if we liked other people that'd we'd tell one another! oh and another thing is, we have a tendancy to argue a lot.. but when we don't argue it's like everythings perfect. so i dont know what the deal is. but ill rate 5's to anyone who can help!! Hey, how long have u been goin out. maby he just knos that you love him so he doesnt say it as much. i say talk to him about it and ask him if why he doesnt say it as much as he used to.

Hey, I would like to know if you all can tell what is wrong with my finger and if I should go to the doctor. Wednesday night, I was at gymnastics messing around, and as I went for a back tuck, my middle finger jammed into my leg... then about 3 minutes later, I jammed it again into a panel mat (a hard mat in case you dont know) same finger and everything. My coach didnt care because i shouldnt have been messing around, so I went through the rest of practice ignoring the pain. Its now 2 days later, and im getting shooting pains throughout it, my whole finger is about 1 1/2 the size of the other, and my knuckle in the middle of my finger is twice the size of the other and i cant feel from there down to the end of it. I have it taped together for now, but it hurts to even write, im typing this without it. Im sorry its long, but i cant decide if I should go to the docot Monday and get x-rays jus to make surem or relax and let it heal on its own because of an expierience with shoulda been broken foot since i didnt go to the doctor right away. Today, I had to call home for some medicine to help with the pain. So, what do you all think of this situation (any of you who read this)...? (link)

I think that you should DEFINATLY go to your doctor. that, in my opinion, is worth getting checked out! so i say go to the doctor and see what he or she says.

On my bus the older kids are mean to my best friend. They always steal her stuff. Like yesterday she had a gameboy with her and was playing sims and this kid stole it and wouldn't give it back until she gave him gum. She had to jump some seats to get it back. Then today she wouldn't give him gum again so he started stabbing her with a needle. He treatened to stab me with it if I didn't move so he could get inm our seat. They my best friend threw the gum out the window and he and his friends started cursing her off and trying to cut her with it. I want to find a way to help but I don't know how. What should I do? THATS AWSOME!!! congrats. i think that just make sure her knows that you dont want to be the center of attention. but meet him half way. tell ur bestfriends. dont just keep it to yourself. hope you live happily ever after!

Is it normal to be best friends with a girl you've known for half-a year?? This girl and I met in eighth grade this year, and I've become very attached to her. We're both best friends and we tell each other everything. We're like sisters. Is that normal to be this close after a short time?? (link)

when i first met one of my best friends i only knew her for about 1/2 a year befor we told eachother everything. and we r like sisers 2. its totally normal. and if u really get along it doesnt even matter if its normal. Just hang on to her and dont let her go.

Well, I am 13 going on 14, and I would like to have a party. My parents are strict..and for the past years my party has been just a sleepover with 2-3 girls. Wth, I know. That is certainly NOT a party. So, my problem is..I have so many friends, and I'm tired of narrowing down to 2-3 for a sleepover. I'm thinking of inviting around 10 people, maximum, because my parents will probably be pissssed. Ahaha. So, does anyone have an idea of what we can do? I don't want to go bowling..or golfing, OR see a movie, really. I wanna have a cool party, a fun one. My birthday's January 9th, but my party's not until later. (2 weeks maybe) So, does anyone have an idea what to do..something OTHER than a sleepover? Thanks. (link)

hey, what i did is had a bunch of guys and girls over and we had a bon fire and games and a just hung out. my couz had some people over and had a dance with snackes and everything. if you wanted only girls you could go shopping. i have done that before 2 and it was a BLAST. hope i helped

okay.. this guy who i have been "talking" to for a while.. came over to my house.. like he does everydayy.. and this time.. he asked me for a kiss.. and we made out for a long time.. but then...i went bak inside.. and got on the computer and (i didnt tell anyone!!) everyone was telling me that he got a girlfriend that morning.. and then.. i was on the phone with him earlier and i was like.. " do you know what i hate? i hate it when guys have girlfriends.. but hook up with other girls.. " and he started acting all defensive.. so. i was dating this guy named brett for 7 days he's 14 also
everything was going great... then it got rocky... we broke up and he said there is a slight possiblity we could hook back up but it wouldn't be now...
here it goes....
I was dating this guy! his 14 and im 14 and we've known each other since we were 5 ( but have never been really close friends) he was perfect for me!! i thought everything was going good! we both agreed that we would talk about everything.. we set bouyndries... he even told me he would never break up with me!! we started talking during class (text messeging) and we were trying to plot a time when it would be great to start telling each other we loved each other ... we agreed that when ever one of us felt that we loved each other we would tell the other one but not expect it said in return! after 5 days of going out i asked him how long he thought we would go out and he said at the minimum a year and i was liek whoa thats a long time but if we really liek each other it could happen right?? well the next day he texted me and said that we needed to talk that night
and i asked him what it was about and he said we'll talk about it later and so i asked him if he was gunna break up with me and he said no and so i was still a lil worried about it and then that after noon after school he told me he would call me back .. and he never did... that night he told my friend to tell me that i needed to move on... so i texted him and said that i loved him and that i would never cheat on him ( since someone told him i was back with my x) and that i would never do anythign to hurt him and that i would give anythign if me and him would hook back up... like 20 minutes ago i texted him and told him that i still cared about him and that if he ever needed anythign that i was would be there...
all i really want is for me and him to go back out... he means everything to me! all i want is a way to tell him that i love him and he means the world to me and i would give anythign to be back with him but i don't want to sound clingy or desperate...
should i call him and find out exactly why he ended that relationship? should i wait for hiim? should i move on?? was i wrong in telling him i love him? is it worth hooking back up?
my friend suggested that i take a break for guys for about a month and forget about brett... but i don't think i can i need him in my life as my boyfriend!!
i know no one will ever understand how great he makes me feel... and i know no one could understand why i criied for 5 hours...
HOW DO I ASK HIM BACK OUT?

hey, you are still young and there will be other guys in your life. if you really like him just tell him how you feel. and see where that gets you. and if he still doesnt want to take you back. I say give it a rest for a while.
