weight ok first of all im not going to amifat.com or any website like that bcuz i dont trust them, i'd rather get advice from real people my age etc. so don't tell me to go to any website.
I've always been really skinny. People always think im anorexic and all my friends are like where do u put ur food? But i dont get my period every month probably because of it so i don't know how healthy my weight is. I'm about 5'6 and weigh about 103. Do YOU think thats healthy. Some of those crazy sites have told me it's not, and i wanna no what u think. thanx

i think that is a little underweight, a healthy weight for that height is about 115-135ish but you might just have a high motabolism, as long as you are eating enough and make sure you are healthy, dont worry about it too much and listen to your body. hope i helped! if you ever need advice you can always drop a note in my inbox! rate me! <33 ]
That depends on your frame. Some people are just naturally skinny...but since you've stopped getting your period, you may want to get a professional's opinion. If you haven't had it for very long, then it may still be irregular, which is normal. 103 at 5'6 IS skinny, but that may be healthy for you. Those sites are more of a generalization, so seek a doctor's advice. =) ]
ok well it is healthy as long as u eat the right food ... my self ... im 5'5 and i way a bit more (im kinda shy about it) but ya not much more anyways ... ur fine ... if ur really skinny ... most likley u got it from ur relatives ... if u dont think it is healthy ... check with a doctor ... or do some back round check on ur older family members to see if it runs in ur family ... hope that helps ... :) ]

I'm 15, 5'4 and about 125 lbs. and I'm about average...I think that's really thin, but probably not to the point of anorexia. Make sure you're getting enough vitamins and stuff, and enough variation in your food. If you're getting the stuff you need, you'll be fine.

i dont think thats Healty becuase since ure taller you should weigh more, im 5'8'ish and weigh in the 140's and for my hight thats where i am supposed to be bewteen 130 -140's and thats Normal for me, i really dont think 105 is healty for you being 5'6 but i am not quite sure if i am right or not! it is unhealthy...my sister is only one inch higher than you and i'm sure she weighs much more, and she is totally in shape. I can't really tell you how to gain weight cuz i spend most of my time burning it during gymnastics. but maybe you should see a doctor ]
Well, I had my physical on Wednesday, and I was looking at the weight charts, and I agree with the weight charts, and those crazy sites, that isn't healthy, you should get up to at least maybe 120. That sounds like it'd be a good weight, or at least a healthier one. There's more than one definition for anorexic, and one is when you're severly underweight, and you are close to it. Gain some weight kid! ]
103 is underweight for you. try drinking some protein shakes, and increasing on your dairy foods. go for about 118-119. trust me you will still be thin. and if you do feel a little big, just do some toning exercises to trim up, but dont lose the wieght. ]
I thkn its perfectly fine cus im about 5'3 and weigh about 90lbs and im 14. but im just fine i have a high motabolism and i exercise alot
im in lotsa diffent sports and i have a decient diet. in my opinion ur just light. but if u think its worse then it shud be try a doctar ]
In my opinion, you are very light. I'm sure if it's healthy, because everyone is different. If you want an accurate opinion, I suggest going to your doctor. ]
It could be because of your metabolism or if you play sports, you burn it off. If this doesnt sound like you, go to the doctors or talk to your parents about it if your really concerned.

hun... you are perfectly fine i think. maybe u r a little under weight so go have fun and eat a big feast... you are very lucky trust me. Some people if they eat a lot they will get fat if you eat a lot you will just look healthier so go have fun with your gal pals and eat a TON!

NO, that is NOT healthy. Being too thin will cause you to skip periods and lots of other problems just as bad as being too fat. What you really need is a PROFESSIONAL opinion, not from a web site, but from a dietician or Doctor (general practitioner or your gynocologist not a diet doctor). Everyone's body is different and has different requirements to remain healthy. Only a profession who KNOWS you will be able to give you an accurrat assessment of your needs. Your body is already giving you signs that it's not happy. Take the time to listen to it and find a doctor you can trust to help you reach your best. Luck! ]
well i had this friend and hes like u hes really tall kinda and he eats like crazy cuze he has a high matabalizum and hes so skinny. ur probly healthy if u eat right and regulary. so dont worry about it tell everyone that ur just normal and u have a high matabalizum. ]
You are too skiny. In fact, you are dangerously underweight. I don't even need to look at the figures to know that - the evidence that your weight has dropped so low that your periods have stopped is evidence enough - it means your body is unable to function as it should because you are so slim.
Do you have any idea what you are doing to yourself? You could be permanently damaging your body and reducing your fertility. I'm sorry that this seems a harsh answer, but it seems to me you need it. These websites are not "crazy" or biased, they are pure number cruchers. They are telling you you are underweight because you ARE. First, talk to a sympathetic relative - mother, sister, older cousin - then get them to accompany you to the doctor and/or diertician. ]
Ok I'm about 5'8 120 lbs and that's a pretty good weight. If anything you might be able to gain weight but I think that's pretty healthy. Those websites are just doing the average weight of people in this country and a lot of us are overweight, so the average weight goes up. But yes, I think that's healthy. Hope I helped!
