If you're going for a more natural look, I say brown. If you want dramatic, you can't go wrong with black :)

That's really just up to you. If you want to get him something, go for it. Even if he doesn't get you anything, it's still a sweet gesture. On the other hand, what if he gets you something, and you don't have anything to give him? Then you're going to feel bad, lol...I say go for it. You have nothing to lose.

Just call him. Once you get past the initial fear, you'll feel more comfortable. He's TELLING you to call him, so that eliminates any fear of rejection, right? Besides, how can you possibly date someone you can't talk to?! I say go for it. Take advantage of the opportunity.

I think you need to tell him. It may hurt his feelings, but at least it's coming from you and not her. If you don't tell him, you're just setting him up for rejection.

A promise ring is just simply a ring exhanged between two people symolizing a promise. I think the most common is from a guy to a girl, symbolozing love/sort of a pre-engagement thing.

He's your boyfriend. You can't build a relationship without the ability to talk to him, and you can't hide things from him in fear of losing him. I doubt that your boyfriend will think any less of you because your step brother is gay. A lot of people who are homophobic are just simply naive. If you explain to him how you feel, and how it bothers you when he says such things, I'd be willing to bet he'll lighten up.
There's two guys i like very much...one is really sweet and has his heart in the right place and means very well, but he's over protective and though we are going out he barely talks to me and flirts with other girls. I would suggest first talking to your boyfriend. Although it's a big thing to you, he may not even realize he's making you feel the way you do. A lot of people find themselves starting to like a new flame while already in another relationship, especially if you've been together a long time and things have started cooling down... Granted that I don't know anything of your relationship with this guy, but take it into consideration. Once you break it off, you may not be able to have him back. Make sure you know what you want BEFORE you act, and I suggest talking to your boyfriend first, before making that decision. Second, take into consideration the age difference...Not trying to get all parenty or anything, but four years can make a big difference in the teenage years--make sure his intentions are...well, you know, innocent.

i have the hardest time doing sqaure roots...its easy if its like 9 or 64 or something like that but when ikts 47 or 128 or 90...i dont know how to do it...when the answer equals a # rad a #...if anyone knows what im talking about and can help me...please help!
The easiest way to do it is to find the largest perfect square (4, 9, 16...etc.) that the # is evenly divisible by. If you can't do it mentally, just factor the # completely. For example, let's say you have the square root of 20. 20 factors into 2, 2, and 5. Since you have TWO 2s, and you're finding the SQUARE root, you can pull them out, leaving you with 2(radical)5.
Another example...square root of 12: 12 factors into 2, 2, and 3. pull out the 2, and you're left with 2(radical)3.
The same concept applies for cube roots, etc., just instead of needing 2 #s (perfect square) to be able to pull it out, you need 3(or whatever other #, depending on the root).

Sorry, but I don't think there's anything you can do about it, other than just waiting it out til it goes away. It normally doesn't take long--I'd say by 2 weeks (at the most) it should have started to disappear. Until then, may I suggest concealer? lol.

I would just tell him upfront that you aren't interested in having sex. If it really is all he's interested in, then he isn't worth it. There are plenty of guys out there who will respect you, and if he isn't one of them, then forget about him! Don't sacrifice your values for a "cute" guy. Hope I helped =)

I asked my mom if I could get my belly button pierced and she said yes, but when we were trying to figure out where to go one of her friends said that you can get herpes from it and all this stuff like that and getting infected. So now my mom doesn't want me to anymore cause she doesn't want to be responsible for me getting some really bad infection or something like herpes. what can i do?
No, I'm almost positive you can't get herpes from getting your belly button pierced. However, you CAN get HIV, so be careful and make sure you get it done professionally.
I received a Mini-Ipod for Christmas. The instructions read that you need Windows 2000 or higher. Only problem is: I have Windows 98. So does this mean I have to upgrade my computer to Windows 2000 or higher? If yes, is it expensive to buy the program? Or do I have to buy a whole new computer for it to work? No, you shouldn't need to buy a new computer. You can buy upgrade software at most electronic stores (Best Buy, Circuit City, etc.). When I upgraded my old computer to XP, it was around 100 dollars. Good luck!

Try and remember why you broke up the first time, and consider the fact that that reason STILL may exist. Getting over a 9 month relationship, especially if it's one of your first serious relationships, can be difficult, but time heals a lot of things, and you will get over him. TALK to this girl. Something is obviously going on. It's a little abnormal for her to dump you, only to ask you right back out again. She's your friend--ask her what's going on. If I were you, I wouldn't go out with her anymore until you had a serious talk.
I wear tinted moisturizer on my skin and nothing else.. except blush. But my question is, since I don't use any powder, would it be bad to use a powder blush? Or should I use a liquid blush.. (or w/e its called.) And does anyone have any reccomendations for fair skin? Like brands that I can buy at Target. Thanks!!
I prefer cream blush or tints. I just think they stay on longer and look more natural (if you apply them right--it takes some practice to get it even), but it's really just a matter of opinion. I don't wear any face make up other than concealer, so I'm pretty sure you not wearing powder doesn't matter. I don't know about any you can buy at Target (I'm sure they have some, I've just never checked), but there are some great department store ones. MAC makes a good one, and there's this tint stuff by Tarte that I really like. If you're still unsure as to which you prefer (powder or liquid), most make up and department stores will allow you to test their products. They can even show you how to apply it correctly, and give you an idea of which would be best for your skin type. Hope you find what you're looking for!
