I wear tinted moisturizer on my skin and nothing else.. except blush. But my question is, since I don't use any powder, would it be bad to use a powder blush? Or should I use a liquid blush.. (or w/e its called.) And does anyone have any reccomendations for fair skin? Like brands that I can buy at Target. Thanks!!
Additional info, added Friday December 24 2004, 12:29 pm: Any recommendations for colors for fair skin?? And I have dark brown hair and I wear kind of dark eye make up if that helps. The blush taht I use is Trucco "One Blush sandalwood" and its reeeally great. But if thats not at target (i got it at ulta) than pretty much any brand is great, you'd probably want a smoky colored blush, or mosaic blush. [ sshelbyy's advice column | Ask sshelbyy A Question ]
theblondeone989 answered Friday December 24 2004, 2:27 pm: I prefer cream blush or tints. I just think they stay on longer and look more natural (if you apply them right--it takes some practice to get it even), but it's really just a matter of opinion. I don't wear any face make up other than concealer, so I'm pretty sure you not wearing powder doesn't matter. I don't know about any you can buy at Target (I'm sure they have some, I've just never checked), but there are some great department store ones. MAC makes a good one, and there's this tint stuff by Tarte that I really like. If you're still unsure as to which you prefer (powder or liquid), most make up and department stores will allow you to test their products. They can even show you how to apply it correctly, and give you an idea of which would be best for your skin type. Hope you find what you're looking for! xokristabelle answered Friday December 24 2004, 12:43 pm: In winter, it's ebst to wear creams on your face if your face tends to get dried out, but if you have tinted moisturizer it's best to use a powder blush. I recommend JANE Blush in Glowing Earth. [ xokristabelle's advice column | Ask xokristabelle A Question ]

x0x_surfergirl_x0x answered Friday December 24 2004, 12:26 pm: Hey girlie,
I use powder blush. Power blush is the best for me because it doesn't make my face look oily, and its not streaky. It makes my face look porcelain. It will be bad to use powder if you apply blush first then cover up or moisturizer after, it will become streaky. For fair skin with blush, sheer colors will look best on you. Pastels, avoid brown...or Pink or peach. Some cheap brands that you can buy at target or walmart is, maybeliene, covergirl, revelon.
Hope I helped ;)

NEVERLETG00 answered Friday December 24 2004, 12:21 pm: i dont think it would be a bad idea to wear powder blush, it should work the same as the liquid stuff. well if you want powder foundation/blush, cover girl and maballine (?) sell pretty good stuff, and works really good.. and they also sell liquid blush too. Their not too expensive, i would guess around 6 dollars but not too sure.. x0 [ NEVERLETG00's advice column | Ask NEVERLETG00 A Question ]
