I just started fencing practice. We were working on advances, retreats, lunges, double advances, and double retreats. I pretty much have all of that down but the only thing I really need to work on is my ads, and step lunges. I'm having alot of trouble doing that. Can anyone give me any pointers as to what I should do to improve? If you know of any sites that would help too. And if it helps at all... I fence foil. Thanks so much if you can help!

Dom answered Friday November 26 2004, 2:34 pm: What i would do is go and start training. Get maybe 25lb to 50lb bags of sang and go and put them over your shoulders and run with those every day. Then you can increase your weight on the bags and such...and also do other training excersizes when you do that it also goes and gives you better balance and other good qualities about your body to make you do ads and step lunges better than what you could do before. Im not sure if it will help for you...but it worked for me. I hope i helped.
