the mini is good if you dont have a ton of songs to put on it...but if you are only gonna use your ipod for every song you have then go with the regular ipod....it may be more expensive...but for about a hundred dollars more it can hold 10000 songs compared to the measily 1000....dont get me wrong thats still a lot...but it all depends on youre situation....as to the songs....the best place to get them would be through iTunes.....for about $.99 you can get a song....kinda expensive but you can also use the pirating ones too....or you can just put CD music on it too....so yeah hope that helped......please rate

depends on how many songs you want. i would go with a mini iPod because it holds hundreds of songs and is cheaper than regular ipods

It depends on your usage. If you will not sure more than 1000 songs, then get the mini to save the money and the size. You can always remove songs from your ipod, so if you only want to have 1000 songs at a time and a colorful music device go for the mini. I have a regular ipod and love it. I bought the 20gig, but I am only using 25% of it, and I've had it for a year. It is a much better buy for the size, but if you are not going to use more than 1000 songs, don't bother buying it. I hope this helped!

Trust me, you don't want the mini iPod... it sucks! The only thing cool about the mini is you can get you name engraved on the back and it's colored.... It really is a rip off because the battery only last 2 hours then you have to charge it again!... And you can only store up to 1000 songs... I have the 40G and it rox! I can store to 10,000 songs and the battery lasts 6 hours!... The 20G is good too! My cousin has the 20G one... It can hold up to 5,000 songs, but i think the battery last for 4 hours... i'm not sure though... And yes, iTunes is very easy to use! And yes, you can get a prepaid card or you can get free cards at like grocery store when you buy something - my mom got a 5 free song card for iTunes for buying HagenDauz icecream... lol - . I hoped i helped!! :)

Ok, The mini ipod is only 4 gigs, its a little bit smaller and it doesnt hold as much. For 50 bucks more you get 5 TIMES AS MUCH SPACE on a regular 20 gig ipod. Bottom line
Get a regular ipod.

a mini ipod is only better b/c it is less expensive, but a real ipod can hold over 35,000 songs! also, mini ipods have different colors, ipods dont.. but i don kno if that will change your mind lol my brother has one and its really cool, plus im asking for a mini ipod so my parents dont waste their money, when i dont even know 35,000 songs! lol no, i don think there are gift cards. but ya if you have an imac or and ibook g5 laptop, it's EXTREMELY easy to use! plus, it takes a really short amount of time to download! hope i helped please rate!

i have an ipod mini and its actually pretty easy to use. The difference between the 2 is that the minis will hold about 1,000 songs, and the regular ones can hold up to 10,000 songs. Also the minis come in colors :). you dont have to buy the songs from itunes. i download mine from WinMX because it's free. It's pretty easy to use. Hope this helps! good luck with ur ipod! if u any other questions about it feel free to ask me.
