I'm 15 and most of my friends do go trick or treating. But I feel to old for it too. Maybe you can have a close friend that doesn't really want to go either and hand out candy and watch some scary movies. You don't have to go if you don't want to, but if you do, just grab a friend and go out for a little bit, they'll have a good time and so will you.

You should skip it if you aren't going with anyone... I stoped when i was in the 5th grade because where i lived at the time, parents wouldn't give candy to kids in junior high and older and everyone thought it was immature, but where i live now, toting is the most popular thing to do!... You should go to a haunted house, Six Flags, or a horror movie that is out with a bunch of your friends... I hoped i helped!! :)

hahaha, i went as a freshman, sophomore, and i'm planning on going this year.

growing old is inevitable, growing up is optional!

go for your last time, take a little kid as a favor or something, it's a blast, and once you stop trick or treating, you'll feel old... who ever wants to actually feel old?! best of luck chica...
i'll leave you with the wonderful words of disney!

I am in 8th grade too...My boyfriend and his friends are going for their last year this halloween, but I haven't gone for a while because I have had to stay home to pass out candy. But I kinda dress as something. If you want to go, then go. Or stay home and pass out candy and sit on your front porch and listen to music while passing out candy.

no, of course not! yur not 2 old! ppl are still goin at my age. in 8th grade, my friend went as a gum wrapper! haha, i still laugh at her! but itz totally kewl 2 go trick-or-treating. when i was in 8th grade, every1 went, except 4 the ppl who were 2 'embarrised' and every1 was luck, uh ok, cause they didnt go. if yu dont wanna go, cause yu dont have ne1 2 go with (which i'm sure one of yur friends would come with yu hun!), yu could stay at home.. dress up, and pass out candy! it was sooo much fun! i did once, and itz sooo cute 2 c all the little kids and their costumes! they're just adorable! but yaa, itz funn giving candy (eating a piece here and there ;) ), but remember hunn, yur not 2 old!

dramaqueenbabeiwb answered Friday October 29 2004, 5:51 pm:
have a halloween party! or you could get a big group of friend and create a haunted house for the trick or treaters when they come to your housse. BUy masks and stuff, you and your friend could scare the pants of them! *I tip is wear a mask, and act like your stuffed. When a person looks at you, grab them or lunge for them. lol.

Hey! You are NOT way to old to go trick-or-treating! I'm 14 and I'm definitly not passing out a chance to get some free kick-ass candy! I know a bunch of older people that are going, too! If you can't hook-up with any of your friends, then just go around your neighborhood with your siblings or neighbors. Once around the block should give you a good-sized amount of candy!

Happy Halloween! =)

You are not too old to go trick or treating!!! I stopped when I was 16 I think and I would have kept going, but I'm tall and a lot of people yelled at me because they thought I was much older. I love Halloween and now that I'm older I'm so happy to have it back again...only now no candy, but rather alcohol and partying. Don't stop if you don't want to. I'd give anything to go again. Find some one to go...family anyone...the best part about is going with people and causing trouble and goofing off. Hope you have a great Halloween!!! I'm dressing up as a belly dancer and I plan to get sufficiently trashed and dance on tables in some of the local clubs at the street party they throw here. :) Oh the fun you have to look forward to!!!

S_C answered Friday October 29 2004, 3:18 pm:
I went for the last time in 8th grade. I'm not going this year, I figure 13 is too old. Right now I'm 13, and I won't be 14 until a week from sunday, so in 8th grade I was 12 on Halloween. But truly, if I wasn't going to a party, then a bunch of my friends from all over are coming to my neighborhood, (one of the biggest in the district) and are trick - or - treating. As long as you don't look too old. Like if I was handing out candy, and somebody that looked too old came by, I wouldn't give them any. So what do YOU think¿?

jbdreamer answered Friday October 29 2004, 2:57 pm:
Deffinately do not go by yourself it's unsafe, and kinda pathetic, especialy at your age. And yes I would say you are a little old for "trick or treating" anyways. Stay home and watch scary movies with your friends or family, and hand out the candy instead. You could still wear a costume.
