my mom and dad r seperated and i got into a fight with my dad one weekend (every other weekend)and he said he didnt want me to come back.... why does he hate me... what did i ever do to him?! I used to be hhis pride and joy.... what happened???

AdviceMistress answered Friday October 29 2004, 2:28 pm: he doesn't hate u! he was probably just angry because of the seperation he is not in anyway mad at u! he doesn't hate u sometimes parents take out anger on their children it's normal just give him sometime and some space and i bet an apology will be on it's way soon!!
lorelei answered Friday October 29 2004, 2:23 pm: I'm sure your father still loves you. You're his child. Sometimes, people (not just parents) will say things out of anger that they don't mean. Not only that, but most kids begin to feel alienated from their parents and family as they get older.
Give him a call and talk to him. Act like your normal self, and casually bring up the fight in conversation. He'll probably be ready to talk about it too.
