Restaurant problem...!
Help. When I order chicken wings in a fancy restaurant should I pick them up and eat them or use the cutlery provided?

I've never even heard of a cutlery, but I have an idea of what it is, personally i would just eat with my hands because chicken is chicken...But in a fancy restuarant I would prolly use those cutlery utensils provided that way you wont look retarded in front of people who are really classy because a lot of classy people eat in those type of fancy restuarant.. But as long as you eat it I dont really see the difference.

Id say eat them however you want. If you wanna pick that wing up and just eat it thats ok. All because your in a fancy resturant doesnt mean you have to be fancy. I mean dont go burpin or anything but dont be to fancy.

Pick 'em up and eat 'em. Just don't look like you haven't eaten in days and go all wild and slobbery and attack your chicken I did that once in a restaurant when I was seven and my parents were so embarrassed teehee ;)

Lol, well, I don't go to fancy restaurants often, but when I do (and if I get chicken legs) I definitely eat them with my hands. I consider myself to be of high class (my entire family is a bunch of rednecks and it kills me to no end) but chicken legs are made for the picking up and eating. Either that, or I am more barbaric than I think.

you eat your food how ever you want to dont eat proper just because you want to impress somebody...if it was me i would eat my chiken wings with my hand but i would have a napkin in my lap and in my other hand to wipe grease of my face...hope i could help and good luck to you

Well, I would doubt that a true "fancy restaurant" is even going to offer wings on their menu. As such, you should consider the atmosphere and how your are dressed. A casual restaurant, fingers is obviously fine. Wings are generally considered a low-end, low-cost bar food or appetizer. You're not going to find it at many 3 and 4 star eateries. However, should you run across that, it would be appropriate to use a fork and maybe even a knife to eat it.
