Mom Trouble
I'm 13. I have 5 pairs of shorts, 2 pairs of pants, 5 shirts and 2 sets of pJ's.
I keep asking and asking my mom to take me out shopping, but she always keeps saying no. I get in trouble at school a lot because my shorts are to short and my pants are too tight, but I can't help it if my mom never takes me shopping!
How do I get her to take me out shopping?

you should tell her what happens at school. If the teachers keep telling you that your shorts are too short, then your mom should definitly take you shopping. And as it goes for winter, how come you only have two pairs of pants? you must freeze your butt off. You should keep proposing the problem to your mother. And if that doesnt work, then ask the office or whoever you get in trouble with to give you a note to send home to your mom. It will explain the problem and tell why you should get new clothes. heres the best solution find your shortest shorts put them on. put on your most revealing shirt and go to school. make sure to really flaunt. you will get in trouble and your mom will get called in. that will escalate it to the point that she has to buy you stuff. of course if you dont want to get in trouble you can jsut keep bugging her until she agrees

did you tell your mom the problems you are having? maybe you have been asking at the wrong times. try finding her when it is a nice and quiet and she is in a good mood.

go shopping yourself! go with a friend of yours or something. maybe go with your friends mom or something. tell your mom its a must. like its absolutely nessisarry because you are totally out fo close.
go to school naked or something, that'll wake her up. no i'm just kidding.

just tell ur mom u dont feel like goin to school and getting in trouble for wearing things ur not aloud to wear because u have no other clothes..but if she STILL doesnt take u shoppin..ask one of ur friends like wat r u doing ..wanna go shopping? lol good luckkk

You deff need to go shopping! I have an idea u could ask a friends mom to take u that way u n your friend can find outfits together n to get money u could babysit u can make pretty good money that way! If your not up for that ask your grandma aunt anyone in your relation to take u shoppin n maybe they can talk your mom into takin u shoppin.

If you haven't already, you should tell your mom what is happening. Your mom should really know about this. If your mom still doesn't agree, you should talk to your principal about it. Then maybe your principal will make time to talk with your mom. That sounds confusing, but I hope I helped you! -casey :D

Well do you think money could be the problem? I'd try to seriously talk to your mom and say that you dont want to be getting into trouble any more and you really need school clothes. Tell her it's really stressing you out. If money is the problem then there are stores with like hand me down clothes but if you search I bet the clothes arent THAT bad and no one needs to know where you got them. If money isnt the problem then maybe you could ask your mom to give you some money and go to the mall with a friend maybe. Good luck hope everything goes well!

Tell your mom that your getting in trouble @ school for the clothes you were.Or start looking for sales in the paper and stuff.I know aero is really sheap if you look on the clearence racks and G+G/Rave is pretty cheap too.Or try making your own money, like babysit or help someone with housework.You could put flyers up around your neighborhood and see if that works.Hope i helped.

I don't know if your Mom not taking you shopping is related in any way to not having enough money, but if that is the case, here is one idea. You could do some research (ask around, look in the phone book, etc.) to see if there are any decent second-hand clothing stores in your area. Yes, some of them are full of crap, but there are a couple stores in my area that are pretty cool and I have found some great deals on good quality, popular label clothing.
Once you find a good store in your area, then you could bring it to the attention of your Mom. She might be willing to take you shopping more often (or at all) if it's not going to be super expensive for her. I hope this helps. Best of luck to you.

Well, you may not realize it, but maybe you and your family are having financial problems and she can't afford to buy you clothes. If that's the case maybe you could babysit for people in your neighborhood or something along the lines of that and then look for some stores with great bargains (ie. Dots has great prices (nothing more than $15-look @ dots.com for store locations)(Ross, T.J Max,etc) and you could shop there. Also, try to buy your clothes a lil' bigger so they are not quite as tight on you. Also, if you tell your mom you have earned this money on your own and found an in expensive store to shop at she will see that you are maturing nad responsible and maybe hse will be more apt to take you shopping in the future. :)

If she can't afford it then its really not her fault. Next year you'll be old enough to buy your own clothes. Im not real sure how you have internet if you cant afford clothes? But trying asking for clothes for things like christmas and your birthday. Search through the piles of things at good will and rummage sales. Your bound to find Something.

Ok u may or may not go by this but what i did.....moohoohahahahah is...(this is over a 3 week period) wore my jeans...MYSTYIOULY got a torn hole in the crotch area...second pair GOT BLEACH STAINS ALL OVER IT !! MOM!!!

You need to raise the money yourself. Like do babysitting, yard work, help your mom around the house. So that way you earn money and she doesnt have to pay..and then have fun shopping:)
