I wanna start wearing eyeliner, and in your opinion, should I wear liquid or pencil? Thanks

PENICil. liquid is ok but wen u first use it it makes ur eyes water nd its relli messy and smudges. (unless ur a pro, lyk me lol)

It's your first time. Start with pencil, because liquid is a pain, i tried it at camp, and turned my own eye black. It was kinda funny though...

I'd say definately pencil, although it could be difficult. Also, another idea is purchase a dark eyeshadow color (dark brownish, preferably) and an angle brush (a thin brush that has a flat end with a single flat row of bristles that are cut on an angle) and dip the anglebrush in the eyeshadow and apply as eyeliner. It's a lot easier than the pencil and not as messy as the liquid. I tried the anglebrush method and it works. You can get an anglebrush at a Mac Makeup studio at several stores (Nordstrom's for example) or even on ebay for lower prices. When it comes to eyeliner, it's just a peRsonal pRefeRence whetheR to choose liquid oR pencil. HoweveR, if you ask... MOST people will tell you that pencil is a betteR choice. It's a gReat staRt foR a beginneR who is just getting used to it. If you mess up, pencil is A WHOLE LOT easieR to clean up and Re-do than liquid would be. And if you plan on caRRying it aRound in a puRse oR pocket.. theRe's a chance that the liquid may Ruin. And now foR the pRoducts... peRsonally, I think the two best bRands of eyelineR out theRe aRe "MeRyl NoRman" and "Beautique". "MeRyl NoRman", which can only be puRchased at "The MeRyl NoRman Cosmetic Studios", is pRicey [typically $8.50 - $15.00], but it REALLY IS good stuff. It goes on wondeRfully, and stays on all day!!! On the otheR hand... I happen to think that "Beautique" is INCREDIBLE, howeveR, I've ONLY seen "Beautique" at "Sally's". And "Beautique" is only .99 cents. TRUST ME.. I would NEVER EVER EVER buy cRap make up!!! I get only the best, so please, please, please, please DON'T let this dollaR pRice thRow you off - you'd be cheating youRself out of the best pRoduct out theRe!! I'd PREFER "Beautique" out of ANY otheR bRand of eyelineR!! I could easily go out and buy a $15.00 pencil, but I'd RATHER get "Beautique"! "Beautique" glides on smoothly and REALLY LASTS ALLLLL DAY!!! I CAN NOT pRomote this item enough!! And if you still have doubts... foR only .99 cents.. it's woRth a shot!! Goodluck!! i think that pencil is way easier to put on because liquid sometimes gets into ur eye and kind of comes off easier... plus liquid is usually more expensive... hope u like ur new look! if any one has a question about anything at all ask me!!!

Well pencil is alot cleaner and goes on smoother where with liquid you can screw up really easily and it sometimes gets really cunkey!And it kinda depends on whear your gonna wear it.On the eyelid or underneath your eye!So try them both out and see what happens.But for starters I would go with pencil!

Do pencil because its much easier to apply and doesnt come out so dark and thick AND it doesnt make such a mess if you mess up. Hope i helped

I would reccomend wearing pencil eyeliner because if you're not careful you can get liquid eyeliner on your eye! It lasts longer, but is harder to use. Or you could start out w/ pencil and move to liquid later when you get more comfortable with it. Hope I helped. *Amber*

if you want a really dramatic look then use liquid but in my opinion it looks scary if you use to much! lol. i perfer pencil cuz it is more suble and you dont look like you put to much on or you have a black eye or nething.

Well the people i've talked to says pencil is better. I dont wear make up... So when i mess around with eyeliner I do use pencil.

well it depends c i wear contatcs and it would b a big mess if i wore liquid so0o i just wear pencil,so0o what im sayinis that pencil is ezr to use ... even tho liquid may last longer and they have a variety of colors too*
