glasses
ok so i got those glasses with the plastic frames last year cuz i liked them (at the time). they r blue with sparkles. i got them from da adult section cuz they werent in the kids section. at the time i didnt realize that they were too big for my small face soo i never wear em anymore. im afraid people will make fun of me, so i dont risk it. im only supposed to wear them at school and at home watching tv or sumthin anyway but sometimes i feel like i cant see anything without it being blurry. i dont want to wear the glasses at school cuz they look bad on me but i need to c the board. last year i got bad grades cuz i couldnt see anything. please dont nag me for getting the glasses in the first place, i cant fix that now. its already been done. please, i dont want to wear them cuz i made fun of enough but i need to see. what should i do?

Could you maybe consider trying contacts? I have worn glasses for about 7 years and this summer I got contacts. They take a while to get used to, but the are definatley worth it! If you don't want to/can't get contacts and you can't get a new pair of glasses, I would wear glasses anyway. You shouldn't get bad grades just because you can't see the bored. Maybe you should keep a glasses case with you and only wear your glasses when you need to see the board. Or maybe ask your teacher if you could move up to a seat up front.

have you thought about contacts? you should try them. but if you don't wanna try contacts then i think you should wear the glasses. i mean they couldn't be that bad looking. and you really shouldn't worry about what other people think.

get contacts!!! i didnt wana wear glasses either so i got contacts...some health insurace companies even pay for it for yu!!(dependz wut health insurance yu have tho..check into it) ... or if yu dont have the money and yu have to end up paying for it, then get glasses but onez that fit yur face this time!! lol

Answers easy, does it really matter what other people think of what you are doing. If you are wearing glasses, The glasses BENEFIT you! If other people are so consumed in what other people are wearing then they need to get a life. If you feel that uncomfortable with your glasses, first wear them in class, while your doing work on the board. Then wear them more and more often, People will get used to it. I have bad vision myself. when i first got my glasses, not one person made fun of me, glasses these days are Much more common and normal!! Dont worry! I hope i helped. Plz rate:)

well, i think you should talk to your parents about getting a new pair..Or maybe even contacts..Tell them that you were getting made fun of..Let them know what people said about you..Tell them your like the only one with glasses so that you can get contacts..Please rate me!!:)

well why dont you ask one of your parents to go to the eye doctor and get a new pair or pretend that you lost them and tell you parents you NEED new ones. or if you dont want glasses at all or dont have the money then just ask your teachers if you can sit in the front so you can see the board and wait till you parents planned on gettin you new contacts because they couldnt have expected you to wear the same pair forever! or get contacts!

Try picking out some other frames. Bring someone with you, or ask the optician for help finding ones that look good on you. Pick out frames that fit your face and face structure, rather than just frames that are cute. I fell in love with some frames that looked awful on me and went with the sleek black ones instead, and I'm so glad, they look awesome. There are frames for all face types, with enough work you'll find something.
Otherwise, get contacts. You can get plain ones that no one will notice, or you can get cool colors and designs.

you have few options:
1. wear the glasses, face the music. When I got glasses last year (freshman year of high school) not a single soul made fun of me. I got complimented even. And I like my glasses. Mine are a deep red plastic.
Advantages- you can SEE the boards and get better grades.
Disadvantages- you have a slight chance of not being accepted due to your frames. This is very small.
2. don't wear the glasses.
Advantages- you have no chance of being made fun of.
disadvantages- you cannot see the board erego, grades may pivot downwards.
3. ask your parents for new glasses/contacts. If they let you:
Advantages- seeing, no chance of being made fun of.
disadvantages- new glasses take a while to be made, and contacts have to be cleaned constantly, only worn during the day and they tend not to like chlorine.
if they won't allow you to you have to go back to another plan.
if I were you I'd try glasses at school for a day or so to see how people react.

And if that doesn't work or you think they'll say no, then "break" them, haha even though thats kinda bad n itll make you feel guilty, but if you REALLY dont wanna wear those and all else fails, try that if you want.

Tell your mom or dad and ask them if you can get contacts. That is the only thing to it. I have glasses that i don't like and i don't wear them but that isn't good because i can ruin my eyes doing that. But ask your parents about contacts.

Have you ever thought about contacts? Otherwise you can buy a new pair of frames for pretty cheap. You can get frames at Walmart for like $29.99. I am 23, but have a small face, so I still get my frames from the kid section.
