is it better to wear tampons during your period if your a cheerleader or pads??? plz help!
Tampons just seem more resonable to me. You're mot likely going to be jumping around a lot and that could make you leak out of a pad. That wouldn't be good! ^_^

ok theres this guy that i met online ad we talked and stuff and i sorta like him and he likes me and we talk on the phone everynight now he wants to meet me do u think i should meet him
I think it' ok, but bring a group of friends and go to a public place. I would also have an adult drop you off and make sure your guy friend looks safe. Mabye go bowling or to the mall or something. Better safe than sorry! You never know though, you might meet a new friend.

Yes, at this age I think it really does matter. When you are an adult, 4 years is like nothing. But when you are a teenager, its an eternity. If it were me, I wouldn't go out with him. You could get a bad reputation and he could pressure you into doing somethings you dont want to do.

ok so i got those glasses with the plastic frames last year cuz i liked them (at the time). they r blue with sparkles. i got them from da adult section cuz they werent in the kids section. at the time i didnt realize that they were too big for my small face soo i never wear em anymore. im afraid people will make fun of me, so i dont risk it. im only supposed to wear them at school and at home watching tv or sumthin anyway but sometimes i feel like i cant see anything without it being blurry. i dont want to wear the glasses at school cuz they look bad on me but i need to c the board. last year i got bad grades cuz i couldnt see anything. please dont nag me for getting the glasses in the first place, i cant fix that now. its already been done. please, i dont want to wear them cuz i made fun of enough but i need to see. what should i do?
Could you maybe consider trying contacts? I have worn glasses for about 7 years and this summer I got contacts. They take a while to get used to, but the are definatley worth it! If you don't want to/can't get contacts and you can't get a new pair of glasses, I would wear glasses anyway. You shouldn't get bad grades just because you can't see the bored. Maybe you should keep a glasses case with you and only wear your glasses when you need to see the board. Or maybe ask your teacher if you could move up to a seat up front.

i'm going into highschool as a freshman and for a couple of years now i haven't been doing that good in school. i used to be an honor student and then i got hit with depression really bad and my grades fell to C's D's and F's and i always had A's and B's. I've been struggling since last year to get my grades up because i want so badly to become a doctor and i can't get my grades up. my delema is that if i keep struggling i want to hire a tutor for myself. normally i don't care what people think about me but i'm not sure what people would say if they found out that i had a tutor. i don't want to feel stupid. what should i do to make myself feel better about this?
If you are determined enough to want to get a tutor to help you bring up your grades, then you should. It shouldn't matter what people think about you having a tutor, because they will just end up working at McDonalds while your an aweome doctor! Don't let what other people might say get in the way of your hopes and dreams! And if anyone ays anything, say *Screw you! I'm planning for my future!* lol

I was wondering if it's okay for girls to shave their stomachs because somebody told me that it's one of the places you shouldn't shave. Is that true? and what are the places you shouldn't shave other than your face?
You can shave anything, even your face. Some girl shave their face so you can't see it with make-up. It's not neicary to shave some places, but if you want to shave yur stomach go right ahead!

Firehotquotes.com. Teens submit quote in a bunch of different catgories like funny, love, etc. They even have good quotes with song lyrics! This is the best quote site I've seen, and I think you'll like it!

I'm sbout 5'2" and weigh about 90lbs (I have a REALLY fast metabolism). Is it possible to gain any weight on my arms without getting any on my stomach? That's where all my gained weight goes. Could I be able to beef up my arms a bit?
People with different body types have their fat go in different places. You don't want to get fat on your arms instead because after a while, it looks bad. Try lifting weights and make your arm more muscular. It might take a while, but you should see results.

School has been going for about a week and things aren't exactly going very fast!

I don't think being popular is what's important. I would rather have a few really good friends than hundreds of not so good friends. Just be nice to everyone, be yourself, and you should go far. Don't change yourself to make friends, because if they aren't friends with the real you then they aren't really your friend. True friends like you for who you are, no strings attached.

When I get my period, the first 3 days are very heavy. I wear pads on those days and then tampons the rest. I'm going down the shore on the days when it's heavy and I'm not sure what to do. I'm going to be swimming and everything, but do you think a 'super' tampon would be good enough? It's really heavy and I'm scared even the super tampons won't be enough. What should I do?
Supers should be fine, just make sure you check yourself often and change it as much as you can.

Yes, you should definatley go! This is a chance to get to know him better. About tripping or falling, your probably just scared because you like the guy. You most likely won't trip but if you do, it's not the end of the world. Make a joke out of it, just laugh it off. Don't get too nervous, and everything should be ok!
