dad problem

I'm 17 and my parents are divorced. I live with my mom. I've accepted the fact that I have to spend time with my dad and most of the time its not too bad. Lately things have seemed a little off. I don't want to spend time with him. I'm so stressed out when he's around. I love my brother to pieces but its worse when him and dad are together. They fight like kids and I have to seperate them. I hate being the adult. I'm the daughter and the sister not the wife or the mother. Personally I think when I leave I just won't tell him where I'm going and that'll be the end of it... but I know that would hurt him.

Does anyone know any really good books about stuff like romance, death,depression, all that fun stuff. i have already read the lovely bones and it is my absolute FAVORITE book. nothing to happy...but does anyone know a really good book that has the same kind of mood as the lovely bones.
Oh yeah...and P.S. there is this one book my friend was telling me about where this woman loses all her money and sells her daughter to this prostitute house. its called like "reading me love" but i could never find it...i dont even know if thats the title!! Thanks.

ok im kind of a shy person and recently i started making friends at another high school so im mainly with them. they are all so pretty...a lot of guys like them and they're so nice.i just want to fit in with them because when when im with them,i feel like the outsider. i want to b able to open up more...basically what i want to know is how to open up more!? plz plz help i really need it.

I've become pretty good friends with this guy and he's recently been dumped by his girlfriend of two months. Things had been deteriorating for a while but he still liked her. He's kinda into 2 of my best friends but still flirts with me too. One friend doesnt like him and shes gonna say no to him if he asks her out. The other friend wants to her him out but doesnt wanna hurt my feelings. I've been working up the courage to ask him out as well but I'm really confused. The friend who wants to ask him out doesnt really like him but theyre best friends and I really think theyd ggo kinda far. With me, I think he'd say yes but I am not sure and thats kinda being retarded, and I dont wanna be afraid of anything like that as I learned from the last...

hey uhh we have these monologue things we have to do in my drama class and the one i chose i am really good at and i love it nad everyone says i am a good actor but uhh i am scared to perfrom in front of my drama class cuz there are guys in it that r real jerks and i want to perform really well but i don't think i can cuz i don't want to be made fun of what should i do

ok well when im at school everybody seems to like me and all but there are always rumors going around of bad stuff about me and i dont know what i am doin? is it because everytime i get dumped i go out with another boy? people have been calling me a slut ever since ive been hanging out with the popular people i dont know what to do i bc im never mean to any1 but i dont know what im doing wrong? i know this question is hard to answer but i need help!!!!

There is this boy who's a good friend of mine. I am not sure if I "like" him but he's really cool and we have alot in common. The other day, one of his friends came up to me and told me that the boy I kinda like likes me. I don't know whether to believe him or not. He seems kind of trustworthy and the guy really seems to be dropping hints he likes me but would a relationship ruin our friendship?
