Does anyone know any really good books about stuff like romance, death,depression, all that fun stuff. i have already read the lovely bones and it is my absolute FAVORITE book. nothing to happy...but does anyone know a really good book that has the same kind of mood as the lovely bones.
Oh yeah...and P.S. there is this one book my friend was telling me about where this woman loses all her money and sells her daughter to this prostitute house. its called like "reading me love" but i could never find it...i dont even know if thats the title!! Thanks.

The Wish List by Eoin Colfer. It's about this girl and her friend, and their homeless, and they do really bad things. They die in this explosion and they find themselves in hell. It's pretty good. Doesn't really have n e romance in it tho.

I don't know the name of your book. The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd was a good read. White Oleandar is good, but it might be a little too old for you. Go to amazon.com and type in The Lovely Bones, and scroll down to where they give you suggestions/lists/what other people ordered that ordered the book you read.

A good book that empitomises depression and mental illness is "The Bell Jar" by Sylvia Plath. Although I would advise you that it is particularly dark, much more so than Anne Seabold's novel you refer to. But yeah, if you like some depressing reading, that will do the trick!

i know an amaizing book that i just finished. its called "the notebook" and it is a total romance. i actually cried. it is an awsome book and i think u will enjoy it. the author is Nicholas Sparks. hope u enjoy it!

i've never read that book but i know of some books that deal with depression n all that. there speak, cut, laurine mcdaniel has some book that deals with love/loss....theres this one book thats by her that this one girl makes herself skinnier and all that kinda stuff if your interested. lemme know if you want any more book ideas. hope i helped.

1)smack-melvin burgess (havent read it yet but i've been planning to) 2)a child called it-dave pelzer (GREAT book -all a true story- really sad) 3)dreamland-sarah dessen (my favorite book in the whole world it made me cry. 4)cut-patricia McCormick (really short read but dont let that fool you its a great book my 2nd fave)

Lurlene McDaniel. he books are on teens wid terminal illnesses and there is romance and death and everything in them. so if ther is ne thing else i can assist u wid just hook me up.

I think you would like V.C. Andrews. Her books have a lot of tragic romance, and twisted plots with death and depression. Start with "Flowers in the Attic". If you have ever seen the movie, the book is ten times better, and creepier.
P.S. Your book "Reading me love" sounds a lot like a book called, "Moll Flanders."

The Princess Bride, Romeo&Juliet, She said Yes. Thats about all I can think of. The 1st one is a movie, the second one is a play, and the 3rd one is an biography about a lady who loses her daughter when her daughter has a gun pointed at her face, the daughter says yes when answering the question do you belive in God... So it's really sad (I think it is) And you've probably heard of the second one. Watch The Princess Bride, or see if you can find it in book form. Also, A Walk to Remeber is a movie & book, that's sad.

"SPEAK" By Laurie Halse Anderson (Its a great book has all that) Its an amazing book we read it in class everyone loves it. Read it. Or Sexual Assult "Will i ever be okay again?" By Kay Scott too REALLY GOOD BOOKS :) also "The Five People you meet before hevean"
