I’m 14/f and no one have ever asked me out on a date. I am not ugly in fact I recently learned that the boys from my old school which I left 1 ½ years ago thought I was the prettiest girl in the class. I am extremely shy and I really can’t flirt. Also usually even if I like someone I am very cold to them for a long time, it’s like a protective action. But now I just feel so lonely!

My best friend

I've been really close with my friend Ron for a little while now. We are both 15 and we tell each toher almost everything. Recently I ahve been feeling something more for him. We joke around though like I always give him nuggies and in return he puts me in a head lock or something. Yesterday he was towering over me just to see how much taller he is then me and I jsut wanted to lean up and kiss him. Which I might have done if my other friends were not around. I just don't know how he feels about me though. He read a poem that I wrote about him and he really liked it. So today he shows me a song he wrote and it was about his life but then in one part it said

Sorry this is long.
My stepmother is really scaring me. She really has psychological problems. It started with little things like her moving my stuff, or ripping it up, or being jealous over my mother and father who were still friends at the time. She started coming with my father in the car every time he picked me up because she was so untrusting and thought he'd go off with my mother in that 20 minute time. I don't see them any more because of completely unrelated issues, but we started getting odd stuff through the post about a year or two ago (around when all this odd stuff started happening). Stuff like magazines writing to us saying a friend had referred us and stuff. It got worse; with items actually being ordered and sent to ...

OK, ladies. i just turned 14 and i've been having my period since i was about 13 and a half. im kinda wondering about my breast size. I'm an A cup right now, like i've always been. i havn't felt any breast pain in a few months except ocasionally on my period. I'm really worried that IM NEVER GONNA GET ANY BIGGER!! i asked my mom and she said of course they will grow(shes a large c and was a smaller c before child birth naturally)but im afraid she is just saying that to make me feel better. anyway my question is, are my boobs still growing?

my best friend i are fighting over a guy...and she's really fat....and im like not...i think he likes me better...amd i tried to tell her that she's fat...and ....yeah....and that she needs lyposuction..because....shes...FAT>....and yaa. and i am like not...fat. i am like skinny and pretty...and i dont need lypo and like..she is fat.

what should i do? the boy that i go with use to go with my best friend a long time ago and wen we started goig out she said that she didn't like him anymore. but when they went out he didn't really like her and he cheated on her with her cousin. so after two months they broke up.
now that we have been goin togather for 5 months she has some stuff to say like that he cheatin on me and that he's just usin me for sex but i don't think that, that's true because he alwasy with me and all this other stuff that we do togather. should i break up with him so i wont lost my best friend but lose the one boy i love or should just tell him that i don't beliave her and stay with him?

what should you o if your best friend is mad at you because she said that you were talkin about her but you really was not and everytme you try to tell her the truth about it she don't want to talk to you and she be lke no i'm not best friends with her no more. please help

ok i have this strech marks on my boobs and i dunno wut their from but anyway peple told me to use cocoa butter lotion// and i wanted to no if their is any sspecial type or jus regular cocoa butter?

Ok, about a month ago I noticed a small lump around my crotch.. I have just noticed it getting bigger.. Its about 5mm long, and 2mm high.. what do you think it is? could it possibly be cancer? if so.. what sort?

My mother and I rarely talk and I'm losing people in my life to talk to . I lost the best of friend and I can't truly converse with a lot lot of guy friends of mine. Some , no a lot of girls don't lik me . I don't know why. I feel complacent about that and me but why do they have to hold stupid whatever against me. I don't even know if it's something I did: which isn't much at all.My dad's going to be gone for 2-4 month's; I have no one to truly talk to . All these teachers are giving us projects at once and I'm so unbalanced and stressedand unmotivated . Our school is messed up when it comes to this . Hey! let me start off by saying that i love your column and that you give great advice!! now, here's my problem..i've had this HUGE crush (i dont even like calling it a crush, i think i love him..but no one thinks it's possible so whatever..)anyway, ive had this huge crush on a guy fro about 8 years (i've known him all my life) but we're not really tight friends. okey, i didn't know what category to put this in so i just chose love life. Anyway I was wondering about all the sweet nicknames.. I mean everytime a guy calls me babe or darling i die inside..seriously just a name can make me fall. But what can we call guys? Is there anything we can say to make them shiver? can we call them babe? Is there any laid back names? (like you know if we're just talking on msn and he says : hey, babe - what's up? Can we say something like that, even if we're not dating? cuz guys can use babe howvever..do we have anything like that? Something that will make them all nervous and stuff or just happy.
