ABull answered Friday March 11 2005, 1:12 pm: i know this isnt an answer to your question but a diet only consisting of fruit may not be the best choice when it comes to your actaul nutrition. you may not be getting everything that you need from food. if you insist on doing a fruit diet, maybe consider taking a vitamen suppliment, or asking your doctor. But a good alternative diet is the south beach diet. my parents are on it and in the first 3 weeks(as long as you follow the diet completely and excersize)you can lose 20 pounds in about 2-3 weeks. my dad lost about 21, my mom 18. so good luck, stay healthy. hope i could help! I know I know, that's not what you wanted to hear, you want the pounds off now! By lifestyle adjustments I mean taking some time out for yourself so that you can do the things you enjoy, sports, running, swimming, as well as leisurely activities such as watching tv ... we all need periods of rejuvination. You must make sure your getting your protiens, as well as fruits and veggies. Nothing is bad for you if taken in moderation, but to much of anything can be unhealthy. If it's easier sit down, and create a daily schedule ... a period of physical activity, your work activities, and record everything you eat ... it's easy to see if written on paper, what your missing and what your eating to much of ... to answer your question, expect at least a year of good lifestyle habits to lose 30 pounds ... but remember, once you have a solid "good habit" routine, it will be a lot easier to keep those 30 pounds off ... unfornately we all want quick fixes and well in this life, patience is the greatest virtue of all ... I wish you the best and hope you find what works for you! [ all4u's advice column | Ask all4u A Question ]
