I just moved here from a different state & I'm starting school on Monday next week. I'm extremely nervous, I've never moved schools before & I'm 15. Pretty much, my question is: At lunch, I'll probably be sitting by myself. Does anyone have any suggestions on some things I could do to interest me, while sitting at lunch by myself. I don't want to look stupid and just sit there and stare around at people. I want to be able to do something. I'm not going up to people and asking them to sit with them because, I'm not that type of person. Thanks for your help.

I got Linseed Oil on one of my favorite shirts. The shirt is 95% cotton, 5% spandex. How can I get it out? Are there any stain removers that would help?

Breaking the news

I got less than a week before tryouts. How do I let my team-mates know that I'm not doing my sports in the fall season. I don't want to get made fun of or yelled at or anything by them. Is there anything I can do other than just not showing up. Everyone keeps asking me to go and work out with them, but I always come up with excuses. What should I do

Hi. I'm a 16 year old girl and I have a huge problem. I often times wonder about God. I'm sure that I believe in him but at times I have doubts...is that normal? And also, is it true that God has a plan for everyone and some people are bound to go to hell?

Me and my friend both have questions:
My question: I just started going out with this guy that I have been with on and off before. We haven't seen each other all summer so we talk on the phone alot. Anyways, I don't know what to talk to him about! We both end up asking the other person what they wanna talk about and saying I don't know. Or we end up talking about "us" or something. Any ideas? I don't wanna seem boring.
My friends question: My dad is racist, and the problem is I like a guy who is partially black. When we're talking on the phone my dad always interrupts me and asks why we are talking. It's really getting on my nerves and I don't think my dad can get over this. What should I do?

ok..well...my friend who i have known(he is a guy0 since before kindergarten is going out with this girl who every1 totally hates because she is like sluttish and whoreish. a lot of girls like him and he said no to all of them..except he was leading one girl on..and then he just suddenly goes out with the other girl..now everyone is mad at him bc of that..and he has been lying a lot recently. the girl who got lead on is so depressed. i dont know whether to agree with her or my guy friend. and im somehow in the middle of this. please help me sorry this is so long

the choking game

I know people who have been playing the "choking game." Not by themselves though, I know you can die easily that way. What they do is kneel down, and put their head on the ground and take deep breaths. They get up, take a deep breath and hold it, then a friend puts their arm around their neck and chokes until they pass out. Is this really all that dangerous? I've read that people have been doing this since the 1980's, and the only reason its a big deal now is because kids are doing it by themselves and arent letting go of the choke before they pass out. If a friend is doing it and knows when to let go, is it dangerous?

Hi I have a problem I was at 4.9 on my ratings and then I got another rating it was a 5 but my rating went down to 4.74 what the hek is going on thats not fair what am I supposed to do!

I think I'm scaring my crush... she's not showing any signs, but that's just so far. I mean, first, I told her how much I love her. Then, I asked her to the fair. Then, I wrote a song about her, and anyone who knows me knows that I can't write songs for my life! I think maybe soon she'll get scared off, but these things are just bugging me, and I feel like I'll keep thinking about her until I do something for her. Please help!

OK, my problem is a bit weird. I'm 16, and that's normal, at least I hope. Anyways, I relised on my vacation last week that I never want to get married. And this isn't one of those "Oh, you're still too young to decide" things. It is one of those impulses that I know I'll have for the rest of my life.
Yet, I still want a child when I'm older. A few years back, I had another one of these impulses which told me that I do not want a child of my own, but I want to adopt.
I really don't know. Is this normal? Or is something wrong with me?

My best friend probably has the worst life i could imagine. Her home life is a wreck, her mother constantly yells and screams and blames her for her family problems. She can't even spend an entire day in her house without getting blamed and screamed at. Her mom has this "disease" which i personally think is just a scapegoat, considering her mom just sits on the couch all day, smokes, watchews tv, and eats. She dosn't work or anything, and when my best friend comes home, she just harrasses her. Caling her a slut, a cunt, bitch, anything.

ok i love this guy. no seriously i do. i dream about being with him practically every night & he's like perfect for me. he's funny, smart, and cute. he's hilarious and cracks me up all the time. but we're not really friends. and right now he has a girlfriend. everyone suspected i liked him but i wouldn't admit it...but no offense but it was soooo obvious i did, i bet even he knew about it. but he asked out this girl anyway. there was a time i thought he might've liked me too because he flirted a lot & all with me. but i flirted back...did i mess up somehow??? i'm crazy for him and i don't know how i'm going to go back to school & see him with that girl. i love him so much i just don't know ...

im a 15 yr old girl and i've all ready had enough of life and all the b.s that comes with it. i think people construct very tetarded realities for themselves that make life more complicated than it was ever intended to be by nature. is there any large association of people who feel the same way? i dont care if i have to trek half way across the world to find them. any taoists, buddhists, or peacable nihilists who just want to chill out and smoke the peace pipe in some sort of monastery? if you heard, lemme know. :)

hey everyone! okay i was wondering how do you make layouts. I know what to do when i have someone elses layout, and i just edit theres & make it more my own. But im starting a layout xanga and i need to know how to make layouts completely. Does anyone have a code i can use and stuff? and where do you get the cute backrounds and stuff. Also, i use photobucket to put pictures up, but my pictures just turn kinda small, what do i do about that?
