Kindle help: How do you download a new ebook to the Kindle from your e-mail?

I have a Kindle (normal Kindle). I got it for Christmas, I know how to use it perfectly fine. But I'm having an issue with something new I've never done before.
One of the books I purchased, the author said to email the review I had for the book to her and I would get a free kindle copy of her new book she had coming out. I did that and now a few months later, I have an email from her with the new kindle book she promised. She told me to just download the file to my Kindle but I'm not sure how. I don't know what folder to put the download in and I don't want to mess anything up.
The two folders I see are titled ".active-content-data" and "documents". The "documents" folder has the titles of the b...

Not allowed to wear the clothing I want

I am 19 years old, female, from a family background of muslims (surprise, surprise).
I'm pretty much not allowed to wear what I want because everything I want to wear is considered inappropriate.
For example, yesterday I wanted to wear a skirt that is PAST knee-length, and only shows the lower shin area... which is half way to the knees. No big deal, right? Wrong! My mom just looked at me with this shocked look in her eyes, and said that we're going on a family picnic and that it's just not nice or appropriate.
And then she started drilling me on how my clothing is not appropriate or "long enough". She wants me to find tops that are like up to my knees. Like seriously? seriously?

is it normal to be totally in smitten with your best friend but not want to be with him? I don't really believe in monogamy or traditional relationships. I have no desire to pursue that kind of thing, and sometimes I wonder if that means there's something really wrong with me. Complicated love; boyfriend in military

My boyfriend just left to basic camp training and he has been away for about 4 weeks now. The problem is that he broke up with me before he left because he thought that it would be better for our relationship. I really do not agree. He wants to keep our communication going even though we are not really "together" and it is making me emotionally unstable. How can I deal with this situation when I love this person so much that I don't want to lose him? He will be gone for a 1 year and about 7 months after Basic Camp Training but he still wants me to visit him and still talk as if nothing has happened. What should I do? I need help!

So I'm 17/F and the other night I was at a party on a college campus and it ended up ending a lot sooner than I thought. I was supposed to be spending the night with one of my friends but she went off with her boyfriend because they were in a big fight and basically ditched me... This guy that I kind of have been having a thing with that was there (we'll call him Matt: 19) was like "hey we can just chill in my car and figure it out" cause we were both too drunk to drive. Ok so Im 13/f and I have NOT had sex or any sexual experience but I have kissed a guy before and I have masterbated once.
For about a week now, I have been having this rash thing around my vaginal area. It is big and I cant go swimming because it will show through my bathing suit because it is very large. I told my mom about the rash and showed her and she got me this cream stuff from the cupports in our kitchen and it is called 'Cortizone-10' for external use. I have been using it for a few days now and it isnt going away. It stops the irritation but does not get rid of the rash. Advice?
Also, should I start shaving pubic hair because it also shows through my bathing suit and I do not want that.. so should I?

Hi. I'm sorry if this gets lengthy. Most of it is venting. But, it will help you get a clearer picture. First let me point out that I am 21.I will be turning 22 soon. I am graduating from college this December with two Bachelors degrees and then going on to pursue a Master's. Most people tell me that they wish they had me as their daughter. I'm a very religious and spiritual person. I don't like to stay out too late unless something runs late, but not as a habit. Right now, I stopped working, because i had a part-time job, and since Im graduating college, I am ready to start on my career. However, I never ask my parents for money, unless it's for books for school or for gas, because I don't want to get stopped in the middle of the road.

I have a computer in my house that has internet, but won't download things and there's something wrong with it, so I can't hook up wireless wifi. I already tried. I tried using an ethernet cord but it didn't work either. Why isn't wifi working?

Sick great grandmother

My great grandmother has been having a lot of health problems lately and she's just lifeless?
MY great grandma has broken her hip 2-3 times. She fractured her neck and its well now, she has a sore on her foot that won't go away, the doctor said just leave a sock on it and let it get will but it isn't. She can't walk because her foot. She doesn't talk to anyone and she barely eats. I think she feels lonely or depressed about her health problems? Idk, we try to talk to her and she doesn't talk, sometimes we try to get her to eat and she doesn;t eat. She just lays down, not saying anything & sleeping or slouched staring into space. So I've been talking to this guy for a while and we've been getting a lot closer lately. We both feel like amazing connection with each other, or at least he says he does, but we just feel right together. We skyped a few days ago and and were going to again today. Their looks just look average to me. If anything, above average, but if I saw one of them on the street I wouldn't be like "wow, he is so hot!" I'd just see them as just some regular guy. Not ugly or anything, though.
Celebrities I do find attractive are people like Andrew VanWyngarden (MGMT), David Bowie (when he was younger, without the makeup), and Syd Barrett (when he was young). I don't know, personality really makes me attracted to a guy, too. Channing Tatum and Ryan Gosling just seem like typical guys, so maybe that's what I don't find attractive. their are all these bumps on my neck and they wont go away!

14/f. for about two months i have had these very tiny bumps on my neck.its not eczema becasue i've had it before and i know what it looks like and even had it on my neck before and its like a reddish rash. this is differnt because it is tiny bumps. and i popped some of them to see what it was hoping maybe it was pimples or something but when i popped some just a very tiny tiny ball of skin i guess, because i didnt know what it was. there was no puss like in a pimple or anything. and their not blackheads. i even tryed using st. ives apricot scrub which helped me get rid of some pimples i had but on my neck it didn't help at all. after that i tryed to put on some pimple cream even though their not pimples but just to help but it didnt help. :...

Make friends again?

Hi,16/17 from England.
In the past year or so as I've started college I've become seperate from my group of friends.
The thing was, back in September this girl whose been in our circle since year 10, I felt as really talking down to me and my twin sister, making us feel inferior. Saying stuff like 'have you found any new freinds yet?'
So in the end me and my sister decided it'd be best to eat lunch alone, but now I want to get back with my friends again, because obvs its a bit depressing. How do I do this and make contact again, as I'm shy and wouldn't want to feel unwanted once more. Thanks :)
