OK. I have been in "love" with this guy matt since November.. we've been best friends for a while and hes known that I liked him.. but he says he's not ready to be more than best friends with me although we are close. We almost went out once because he said that he wanted to but the reality of the situation is that he was only saying it so i would be happy (I dont really get how making me think he wanted to go out with me and then telling me no would make me happy but whatever.) He's gone out with two girls since... and I've been extremely jealous even though we never actually "dated". Yesterday, he hooked up with a girl named Angela who I almost physically fought last year. When they went out, I didn't feel sad? At all?...

Why is religion so important?

Why does everyone think you HAVE to believe in something? Do you feel it's wrong to not put faith in a religion? I'm not religious in the tiniest bit. I know some people think that you never know what you're missing out on until you try it. However, I've never even cared or have been concerned with trying to find religion in my life. Why is religion so important?

k, there's this (really hott) guy in my class. I don't care what guys look like all that much, his hotness adds to it.. a lot of other girls like him, but I'm not sure if he likes me or not. Another guy in my class shouted to the class that I liked him, and he didn't say anything but my friends said he blushed more than I did. so, do you think this guy likes me? I'll rate 5's for any sensible answer! 14/f

hi im just wondering, i seriously think im kindof on the pudgy side, but my friends always tell me not (but i mean theyre friends, come on!)
but im 5'8 and i weigh 110 or so and i just constantly wish i were skinnier. am i?

ipod froze

i plugged in my ipod video. after 5 minutes nothing happend, so i went to the toolbar at the bottom [ i use windows xp ] and manually made it so that it would disconnect. it sed it was safe to, but on my ipod it still said it wasnt. i disconnected it and nothing happend. the screen that says do disconnect is still there, and when i did this it was on hold, so no buttons or anything works. its not on hold anymore. what should i do - will give five for ideas that work.

OCD?

I think i may have OCD. (obsessive compulsive disorder). I seem to have like scary and gross thoughts and images in my head that I cant make go away and i get like obsessed over it and I cant concentrate. Another thing is I wont eat food thats over 4 days old even if it doesnt get old for another month. No madder what. Another thing is everything has to be clean. As in washed. Like my bes sheats. If they're not I cant sleep in them. Like ill obeses and I cant even sleep, or I wont sleep at all. There are so many things that I obsess over, and I get stressed over. Its so weird. I can name other things but does this seem like OCD to you? <3thanks

hate my family/life

I'm 15 female
I can't stand my family, my dads an alcolholic,my brothers a pot head and has been locked up 3different times on his way of getting locked up again, and my mom is working her way to become an alcolholic, my other brother is in the marines and i don't speak to him. It's like I'm the only one is my house that's normal that doesn't smoke pot or drink barely get in trouble. I'm just so sick of it. I'm scared that pretty soon im going to be all by myself. Like my whole family is going to die either from doing drugs or drinking to much alcolhol. How do i deal with this...make it all go away and make it where it doesn't bother me anymore.

thanx for the good advice! but how would i tell him! wait till hes inside of me and then be like "hey by the way im a virgin and dont know wat im doing?" he comes home in like 3hrs i dont know wat to do! he keeps calling me and telling me hoew bad he wants to feel my body! i dont know how i can tell him! ive been lieing to him since the day we met about this

i need some make up tips. 13/f and i love makeup but want some other ways to put it on but not look like i tried to hard because i am going to where it to school every day. Me and my best guy friend have liked eachother for about a year and a half and now we are both single and for about a month we're going to be friends with benefits and then date. Him and I went out for a day before but I broke up with him because I wanted my ex back. I know.. that was REALLY messed up. But I don't know how to just randomly kiss him. I'm way too scared. I don't know why though, I always have felt comfortable around him and now I'm all shy. Why the sudden change??!! I'm really in love with him. And he is in love with me and I want to make out with him but how do I approach it? When should I do it? I need to know.. the only time we can see eachother is in school. ok so i hav this guy friend and hes usually so nice to me and he teases me a lot but i know he jus kiddding but today he was really bein mean to me and i dont know why!! he wasnt jokin i could tell he had like no expression on his face and his voice was all serious. everythin i said he was jus like "i dont care" and stuff like that it hurt my feeling so bad i dont wanna be friends w/ him. and by the way i like him a lot he doesnt know and i dont understand why hes actin all weird. he was fine yesterday and i dont want him coming to my party if he doesnt want to be friends w/ me anymore, could i just uninvite him? im so confused.. . <3thnx

I HAVE BEEN DATING THIS GUY FOR THREE MONTHS NOW! HES A GOOD GUY AND ALOT OF FUN! HES VERY POPULAR AND HAS ALOT OF "EXPERIENCE." WHEN I MET HIM ALL HE TALKED ABOUT WAS HOW BAD HE WANTED TO SLEEP WITH ME AND HOW BAD HE WANTED TO HAVE A LIFE WITH ME! 13/f. i have hair thats to my shoulders. it sits right on them. its dark dark brown, almost black. and everyday i either wear it in a pony tail or straightened down [i have a chi straightener]. could someone please, please, give me more hair styles so i wont be so plain. thanks!

Dyeing clothes

I brought some trousers for yoga in the sales. They're really comfy and I'd like to keep them, but they're white and a little on the see through side - not what I have in mind for exercise clothes. The fabric is 47% cotton, but the rest is synthetic fibres (49% viscose and 4% elastane) - would dyeing them work, or is the synthetic content too high for that? Thanks in advance.
