Viewing Questions
Web trouble

Every now and then the computers on my home network stop being able to access the web. I can download on bittorrent, play halo online and use msn messenger fine but I can only access web pages through the AOL browser on my mum's computer. It's happened a couple of times now, after a while everything works again. Can anyone shed any light on the problem? I have a belkin router and use blueyonder as my ISP.

sensitive skin on legs and upper thighs

well i am in an embaressing situation..when i remove hair from my thighs and upper leg by either shaving or waxing it seems to leave marks sometimes...right after removing hair the skin is little red and sometimes there are black marks or sometimes there are marks like acne....if i dont remove hair than there is no such problem...i need some solution to this..something that will calm my skin after removing hair...

How can I stop slouching?

I have a bad habbit of slouching at my desk at work. I go home and my neck and back are killing me.
I don't even realize I am doing it while I am focused on doing my work. How can I teach myself not to slouch?

well, there is this guy in my school, he left a note in my desk that says 'I love you' on it. I know it was him bacause he was lurking around and in my desk when I wasn't looking. We are both are the shy type, so it would be kind of hard to talk to him, you know. I kinda got his little brother's sn, but it doesn't really work on my messenger. So the big question is, what should I do? I'm kinda waiting for him to make the first move.

my friend's parents..

ok so my friend's parents both have cancer.. well actually the mom just got over it and is still feeling pretty bad and her dad just found of he has a tumer. they have to do surgery, radiation, AND chemo. its really hard for her because a while back i found her outside (at my party) crying and she told me what happened. i dont no what to tell her because its so hard for her. what do i do to comfort her through all of this?

Pride and Prejudice

For English, I have to relate the themes in the novel "Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austen to the my last book report/presentation, which is "The Phantom of the Opera" by Gaston Leroux. The problem is that the two books couldn't be more different in theme.
"Phantom" is a Gothic novel with themes like dangerous jealousy and hopeless love (Erik's hopeless love for Christine). It follows the life of a despairing madman.
Jane Austen's novel is a light comedy that focuses on, well, pride and prejudice. No diversity issues like in "Phantom" (except that Darcy is a mega-rich landlord and Elizabeth is a middle class girl in the countryside, but that's not comparable with the Pha...

Theres this guy that I really like and my best friend just dumped him, and now she has a new boyfriend and I really want to go out with her ex. I know she wouldnt care if I did she knows that I like him but I don't know if he likes me, my friends ex really loved her too but i dont know if he likes me, he said that I was pretty but I don't know how he feels about me. I'm so confused, does he like me?

Boyfriend not contacted me

f/17 ok so theres this guy and i like him so much i had not seen him a whole year because we moved schools and in january i saw him again! He asked me to go to his house so i went nothing happened we only kissed. But only this time the kissing was better than when we went out before and i know there was a conection.i asked him so are we back together hes like yes. The problem comes now... I am in so much pain!!! This is my first period and I have been crying since about 8 this morning. I tried tylnol motron a heating pad a warm shower nothing works!! pleasew please please send advice i am in so much pain!

I have liked a boy in my maths set for ages, but he doesnt even know I am alive. Me and a good mate joke around he calls me his little goth even though I am not one...this boy aloneg with some of the others in the class have started calling me thier little baby goth as well...at first I thought he realised how I felt by the sweet way he acts with me but he doesnt. He just says hey baby G and leaves me alone. My friend asked me if I wanted to go shopping with him tomorrow and that the guy I liked was going to be there...I havent answered yet, should I go and get to know him better or go like him even more and face rejection? (I know he likes someone else) PLEASE HELP I AM SO STUCK!!!

ok well there is there really hot kid in my school and i really like him. hes really nice and we are good friends. the only problem is, is that he doesnt like me... he likes another girl.we like talk on the phone and stuff but he still doesnt get it.i really want him to notice me but in the halls all he does is act stupid around me

I went to a new highschool this year and in the begining, it was wonderful. I made great friends, was doing well and was elected class preseident. Well, now it's march and things have fallen apart. I said some things i shouldn't have to my friends, without realizing it. I was just informed that most of my class thinks i'm a prep who thiniks she's better than everyone else. I don't know what to do.
for starters i'm not going to say anything mean about anyone because i know i deserver to be mean to right now. but i don't know how to apologize. could you give me some tips to get back on my feet?

I need your help. I have been going out with this guy for five months now. He is a very nice person, he treats me well, and we have fun together.
The main problem is recently he lied to me. We were supposed to meet, but he did not appear. He claimed he was carjacked. He has keys to my house, so he went and took money and pretended the carjackers did it.
I want to forgive him but I'm not sure what to do. He asked for forgiveness and promised that this incident will never be repeated. Can I trust him again?

i know this is weird, but...normally im not happy. my futures pretty much shit. i cut and i know i shouldnt but i dont know how to stop.
when i listen to music it feels like everythings going to be ok and my future actually HAS something in it. whats up with that?

OK, so here's the deal....
Well, I've been trying to break-up with my boyfriend for a little while but I don't want to hurt him. He REALLY likes me.I mean REALLY LIKES ME!! as in: gives me a kiss every chance he gets, he's given me one of his favorite necklaces, He's even talking about how he plans our future 2-gether! Another problem is, his mom and my mom are BFFs since his mom works at my mom's restaurant. I'm scared that his mom & dad are going to get mad at me because they know how much he likes me. I mean, he's a great guy and all, but I just don't feel it anymore. All the spark just went away. Please help.

Ok so me and one of my friends used to be so close, we were really good best friends and se used to be a huge prep and she started to hang around these other people who are emo/goth (i have no problem with emos & goths i have alot of friends who are emo/goth/punk) but now she totally changed and shes not herself at all anymore we used to have so much fun and now we almost never hang out and she gets on my nerves like crazy now! i cant stand her anymore i really want to be friends with her again but i dont know what to do and i CANNOT talk to her about her new friends or about the waay she is now because she get huge attitudes and i really am tired of dealing with them so is there anything else i can do?

i like this guy at work and we talk a little bit here and there, but i find he talks to the other girls more then me. The other day he scared me by grabbing my waist and laughing. He's never done that before to me or anyone else. What can that have ment? Thanx in advance, this guy really confuzes me, because he always looks at me for a long time likes hes lost and when i ask what? he says something random, like i didn't know you were working today. lol, just any advice on this guy would help thanks

Stress For Prom

im freaking out here! Prom's only a few months away and i still don't have a date:( I really want one because its prom you know, and i really want to take a date with me, but the thing is i don't know anybody to take. My social life has been put on hold because of school anf homework so basically the only place i see anyone is at work. I know a guy but we talk a bit here and there (i really like him to, but hes 2 years younger) should i ask him, or if not what should i do for a date?Thanx
