I am in so much pain!!! This is my first period and I have been crying since about 8 this morning. I tried tylnol motron a heating pad a warm shower nothing works!! pleasew please please send advice i am in so much pain!

I take midol it works really good. Or try to get up and do something.Even though it hurts moving will make it feel better.

try midol and watever u do try to move places. Yeah I had mine 3 years and last month for the first time I had cramps n had to tke medicine 4 it. Try movin about a bit...i know it hurts and try takin midol. Don't worry u'll get used to it...

There are various reasons why the pills don't work. You know, Motrin/Tylenol/Ibuprofen/whatever doesn't work unless you've eaten something. It also doesn't work if you don't drink a huge glass of water with it. It takes a lot of water to dissolve the pill in your stomach.

Here's what I always do. Whenever cramps become unbearable, I always boil a cup of hot water with brown sugar or ginger. The brown sugar/ginger helps the blood circulate better. Then, I drink it with two pills of Motrin, lie in bed under an electric blanket, and just wait. It works! Try it. And next time, take TWO pills. One might not be enough.

It's very normal to have cramps, but if you are in so much pain that you are crying there may be a more seroious problem. I would talk to your mother and have her set up an appointment to see your doctor.
