Ok, I have this math problem that I need help with. They give you a formula thats..
c = (2x)^v - x
^ ~ that being to the POWER of v
Then they said to rewrite that formula only using the varible x. So that means I would have to solve for V, and set c to 0 (zero).
So far the formula would be..
1) 0 = (2x)^v - x
+x = + x
2) x = (2x)^v
.. and I'm lost after that step. What would step 2 be? and what would my finishing formula be without the varible v?

okay well this is weird. im not shy around certain people. like i dont have my own like clique at school i hang out with so many different types of people. okay like for instense im friends with the skater guys and im always with them and im not shy around them at all but then when it comes to the jocks im pretty shy but like i hang out with some of the jocky girls and the preppy girls and they hang out with the jock guys so i just need to like break out of my bubble haha whenever im around them but like i dont know how to just start talking to them.. i need like help like just becoming more open around them i guess. like can you please like just tell me how to be myself i guess haha.. idk i just really need help. ill rate high <3

well i like this guy and he already knows i like him i also have alreaddy asked him out but he didnt say yes or no he just kinda stop talking to me i mean not like he doesnt say hi or anything he does its just that he wont say nothing about if he wants to go out with me or not. and now my friend who is his older brother said that he likes me but that hes just afraid (i have boy problems i never last with a boy cuz i kinda cheat in them)how can i show him that its different with him that i really like him!!!!

My girlfriend(22) of 5mths has broken up with me.
We were always so close. I did everything possible for her. Flowers, woodwork projects, poems, etc. She left me finding a porn site on my computer. Nonetheless, this site cant be the only reason she left me. I am going to meet up with her in a couple of days. What should I say to her. What can I say that will melt her heart. hey my boyfriend and i have been talking about making out lately. i gave him this website to show him all the tips that someone posted. he says he doesnt just like to make out. and he says he uses tongue. i dont think im mature enough to use tongue yet...i think,...its gross.. no offence for all u people who french kiss. but i dont want to french kiss just yet. hes made out with a ton of girls before. ive never made out before. any help? thanks!

My boyfriend of about 4 months, now ignores me on a regular basis. I ask him if something is going on, and he claims that he "is in love" with me and doesn't ignore me on purpose.
I'm thinking that he wants to break up, but everytime I try to talk to him about it, he assures me that nothing is wrong, and that he would never ever want to break up with me.
But, I'm getting different vibes. Should I just break up with him than deal with this? Because I'm about to.

help! my cats vomiting and has diheria.

okay so about two weeks ago my cat starting having diheria. i got medicine for him and its not helping! he has horrible diheria and is vomiting. he doesn't hold his food at all! and whatever he does digest he gets diheria. he use to be very heavy now he is soo light. i need help, what could be possible wrong with him? he is turning 10 years old in august. he acts like a kittin and is obsessed with string. he doesnt act or look his age.
i need help with this.

ok so my friends boyfriend rappe me..and i told on him because everyone on here told me i should and im glad they did cuz now hes in juvey and my friend is mad at me because i got him sent there but she dosent know why and im not sure if i want to tell her..she has a BIG mouth..and she wont answer my phone calls..or IMs..what should i do???

Projection

Okay, I have possibly the weirdest question ever. Most people want to project their singing - I have NO problem there whatsoever.
How the hell do you project your speaking voice? I've been trying to figure it out for years. My voice has this weird pitch/quality that doesn't really project. I mean, it can carry into a big room, but if I'm somewhere loud and crowded, I feel like I'm screaming and my voice still doesn't project.
ARGH. My drama teacher worked with me on this last year, but even then I couldn't project.
This is driving me nuts. Any tips?
I've tried lowering the pitch of my voice - it's kind of a low pitch anyway...ish?
Oh, and 18/f if it matters. I'm a singer, too. You'd think that would help with this kind of thing.

Ok here's my situation.
I have a best friend.
He's totally beautiful inside and out. Well, we've been friends for a while..a long while.
I've recently had (cliche!) my eyes opened to see that I've started caring for him more then just a best friend.
He's everything I want in someone.
We've both had our hearts broken,been stepped all over..and we both are pretty lonely.
The only thing that's stopping me is, I don't know how to present this question to him.
I want to go out with him!
But I don't want things to get weird.
He wouldn't hurt me intentionally, I know this.

Can anyone give me general information on the song "Chanson D'Enfance" from "Aspects of Love"?
I need to know the level of difficulty, age range, and whether it would do well as an audition song. My sister is auditioning for Maria is West Side Story. She's 14, but her voice is plenty mature.

okay well me and this kid really like eachother like we were talking online last night like all night & it was like really cute cause he kept like telling me how much he likes me crap and i really really like him too. yeah sounds great but last time we liked eachother like nothing happened we just stayed friend. like i really wanna go out with him but like i never ask guys out. i think its sooo weird and like creepy. haha but like i dont know what to do to like get him to ask me out like what to say or what cause ive basically told him that i want to be with him and he said he was like in love with me so please help just like tell me what to do so he like gets the hint and asks me outt haha ill rate highh <3

I am completely in love with this guy, he is like my best guy friend. Yet we petty fight, argue over stupid stuff(old married couple kinda stuff), but not always to the point of not talking. But there are times when it gets so far that we say harsh things to one another and break up with the other or don't talk for a day. He has been my backbone through a lot of changes in my life recently and one of the major reasons why I didn't take my life. Lately, its been nothing but fighting over stupid crap and I can't stand it. I am like an open book with him, I tell him everything that happens in my life and how I'm feeling; he on the other hand only tells what needs to be told and answers what I ask him. Well I'm a 17 year old girl.
The thing is that I really really like this one guy named Anthony at school and I talk to him about 3 out of 5 days at school. He's really cute and I kind see kindness in his eyes and his smile but a friend has told me that he's gay. I have no proof of this. He has no guy friends that I know of but I know that doesn't necessarily mean anything. Anthony smiles at me in the hall, waves to me in the lunch room, and says hi whenever I pass him. I really want to ask him to prom but he is really shy and I have no clue about if this rumor is true. I'm usually not one to even think that rumors might be true but this one does affect me some. Should I ask him anyways? If so then how? I'm not good...

curling my hair

i like to curl my hair in tighter (but not too too small) spiral curls. when i use a curling iron it looks nice, but it takes way too long. i would like to be able to use rollers/curlers that i can sleep in (comfortably) or that only take a little while in the morning. what brands do you reccomend? and what size? i would prefer someone who actually has used them before answer, thanks! (and please don't say scrunch your hair).

Besides Peggy Lee, what other females have sung the the song "fever"? My dance team is doing that song and I know that Peggy Lee originated it .. but we do a more upbeat version by a different song
