MATH Ok, I have this math problem that I need help with. They give you a formula thats..
c = (2x)^v - x
^ ~ that being to the POWER of v
Then they said to rewrite that formula only using the varible x. So that means I would have to solve for V, and set c to 0 (zero).
So far the formula would be..
1) 0 = (2x)^v - x
+x = + x
2) x = (2x)^v
.. and I'm lost after that step. What would step 2 be? and what would my finishing formula be without the varible v?

A) read the answer below mine
B) write the problem clearer
C) state what class this is for (ie algebra I or w/e)
do these and i will try to help ]
This is a advice colum not a homework colum. You need to eigther
1. Call someone up from your school
2.Listen to your teacher when she talks.
