What do you do when a guy you've liked for a long time rejects you when you tell him you love him, but when he gets a girlfriend (AND IS CHEATING ON HER WITH ANOTHER GIRL), he hits on you? (He hugs you after you tell him he's being stupid and says he loves you) What do you do? Do you react negatively or neutrally? I will NOT react positively, ever. Please don't judge me. Joining a Sorority

I'm a freshman in college and a commuter student and I am considering joining a sorority in the spring semester. I am a little nervous about this because I don't know what to think and I want to make sure I'll be meeting the right people if I end up rushing. Are the stereotypes of sororities and frats true? Should I stay away or decide to join?

I'm taking a Japanese Culture class and I was told to come up with some questions to ask an international Japanese student about my topic. My topic is Japanese Cherry Blossom festivals. I have to come up with questions that the students would be able to understand and some research questions for myself to research. Hi,
Recently, I was clearing out the garage and came across some old home movies. I found loads from when I was just two days old, still at the hospital.
It seemed my family were really good in thinking ahead, and I think it would be a shame if I didn't capture a lot of the memories of this day and age for us all to look back on in 20 years.
I've tried looking for a good camcorder on amazon and so on. But they all seem to be terribly expensive. I've checked review sites, but there are so many models out there! I recently bought a 'vivitar' model, which was horrendous! The picture was grainy, and the mic wasn't sensitive enough. So I want to avoid this brand.

Does music make you stronger?

I saw a "fact" account on twitter, write this:
"Listening to music increases your strength - Your brain is distracted by what you're hearing and doesn't concentrate on what you're lifting"
Now, is there merit to this? Because I replied suggesting that it does not make you stronger, because it is just distracting you. You are only able to lift what your body can, and that distraction is in the mind, and so just related to the perception of strength.
Now of course, if you are distracted, then you may be able to lift more. That may make you stronger in the long term. But I think the tweet is suggesting that at that moment, when you are lifting, the results of...

Should I take my fifteen year old daughter to visit her sister in prison?

her older sister (who is 23) is going to prison for a year for forgery charges. I wonder once she goes if I should take her fifteen year old younger sister to visit her, but I am not sure I want my daughter to be inside a prison environment
it has nothing to do with her sister, she made some stupid mistakes but she is not a bad irredeemable person in my opinion nor was she a bad sibling other than this, but it is the environment I wonder about. I think not seeing her for a year might be better than going there.

Pre-Paid Funerals

How do you set up a pre-paid funeral? I don't want my family to have to deal with this when I pass away. Who do I talk to to do this? I am afraid that if I did it with the local funeral home and then I passwed away on a trip it wouldn't count and they would still have to pay for my burial. How does this work?

Lying boyfriend

I'm confused as to what to do. I feel like my boyfriend is lying tj me but have no hard evidence he is. For example when we got together, he was talking about how his grandmother left him her condo when she passed away. But yesterday texted me saying that his aunt is kicking him out of the condo. Which of course made me ask that if the condo was left to him how she could kick him out. He basically said she left him the condo but pays the rent to his aunt and since he's struggling financially because his employer cut his hours and he hasn't been working hes almost 2 months behind on rent so she told him he needs to move out. Another example, his hours were cut because business is slow, which is understandable. He asked for hours(supposedly)...

i like two guys but i need to narrow it down to one, cause i cant lead them both on. i have no idea so im looking for your opinions.
max: he is 19. At uni, works. Not the best of looking but really nice with a good sense of humor, really smart and is a challenge (which i like), he rides a motor bike which is a bonus but down side is he is VERY religious and we have very different views on the topic, generally leads to a massive debate or fight.
Mitch: 18, works. really good looking, very caring and he is a good listener, always telling me he misses me and always asking to see me again. down side we dont have alot in common, he doesnt get my sense of humor and sometimes i think its an act.

Hi everyone, so basically me and this girl have been getting close and we've been hanging out alot until one day she suddenly stops talking to me I don't know why but she just did. But everytime Im in school she's always looking at me and anytime I look at her so looks away I seriously don't understand this stuff because I'm clue-less. So any reason to why she's doing this? We have been together for two years; and we have been living together under my parents roof for one year. Things have been great. We are both in college, and we both work fulltime. I work at a daycare, and he works at a factory making stoves and other appliances.
Well, my parents made a deal that he could live with us for 6 months, to give him enough time to save up money and wait for a low-income apartment to open up.
