I am looking to buy a beginners professional camera. I ve been looking at the Nikon D3000 series. I d like to photograph my art and make videos. However, the Nikon D3200 only has a recording time of 20 minutes. I m hoping for at least an hour of recording time. The used Nikon D3000s with lense cost around $275-$350. Do you know of a similar quality camera with lense (preferably Nikon or Canon) in the same price range with a longer video recording time? Thank you.

Would my SD card work for my camera?

Hi,
I don't know anything about cameras or their accessories. I recently bought a Canon Powershot SX720HS. It's a 20.3 mega pixel camera.
Does anyone know what would be a good SD card? I bought a SanDisk - Pixtor 32GB SDHC? Would this SD card work well with my camera?

Canon 1100D

Hey guys... I need some tips on how to make the most of my DSLR. I have a Canon 1100D. I know its not a great a dslr. Im just a beginner on this i want to photograph great picture with this entry level camera. The things that i want to photograph are landscapes, nightsky ( milkyway), roads with trees on the side. I took pictures of this but its not that good. I also have 75-300mm lense other than the kit lense. Could anyone of you guys tutor me on this. I really want to this not because its just a hobby I aslo want to make it a profession. Please..

Nikon ViewNX 2: How do I change the Language Settings?

Hi! I have a Nikon camera & have been using ViewNX2 for a few years,hen i uploaded the programi chose Italian as my language,but now i want to chang it to English (im teaching my little sister to use it & she doesnt speak Italian).So can i do this or do i have to upload it again? Please help,all of my photos are there and theyre my life,i dont want to do something wrong and mess it all up,im not very good with computers.Thanks!

I just LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVVVVEEE picmonkey! So much better than instagram in my opinion, but is there an app you can put on your phone instead of editing on the website? It won't make me go back to instagram if there isn't, but if there is or anything I would like to put it on my phone too. Love you all! :)

Compact bag for a mirrorless camera?

I recently purchased myself a Sony NEX 5R and I have been looking for camera bags that are very simple and compact. I'm not too fond of those big bulky black ones that are standard. I would mostly be carrying my 18-55mm lens with it, or a smaller one.
Either way, I have yet to come across anything decent. Has anyone seen something that I'm looking for or could perhaps suggest a make? My budget would be 100 dollars maximum...
I should point out that I'm looking for something that can be easily put into my handbag, as I would never need to carry the actual bag on my shoulder.
Any answers or ideas will be much appreciated!

Export memory card photos to a MacBook Pro?

How do I export memory card photos to a MacBook Pro?
I can't find the cord that came with my newly purchased Nikon D5100 (I hope to find it or get a replacement soon) but in the meantime, I'd like to export the photos that I've taken thus far that are on the Sandisk Extreme 16 GB memory card that I've used.
I can't find any topics on the HP Support pages for the Mac version of the HP Officejet 6500A Plus.
Any ideas?

New camera advice

Hi, im 12, almost 13, and I really want a new camera for Xmas, but I want to know exactly what kind to ask for. I want one that has great focus, is easy to use, has a really good zoom lense, and is just a really great camera. but, i have had past cameras that when you zoom in, the more you zooom in, the more blury it gets. i realize that this is normal, but i would love to be able to avoid it. i have seen cameras that you can zoom in to (example) the stage at a concert from the back row, and its still perfect (or still really good) quality. anybody have anything that would be good for me? links of where to get would be great. thank you!! :)

Hi,
Recently, I was clearing out the garage and came across some old home movies. I found loads from when I was just two days old, still at the hospital.
It seemed my family were really good in thinking ahead, and I think it would be a shame if I didn't capture a lot of the memories of this day and age for us all to look back on in 20 years.
I've tried looking for a good camcorder on amazon and so on. But they all seem to be terribly expensive. I've checked review sites, but there are so many models out there! I recently bought a 'vivitar' model, which was horrendous! The picture was grainy, and the mic wasn't sensitive enough. So I want to avoid this brand.

Pentax k1000 35mm Camera

I am currently bidding on an old fashioned, Pentax k1000 35mm camera on ebay because I love photography and I think this camera would be great.
But the camera I am bidding on does not come with film. It is a 35mm camera but I don't know much about film cameras and i'm wondering if I could buy any brand of 35mm film? For example, Kodak, or Fujicolor. I am unsure, please get back to me as soon as possible! :) Thanks

About Being a Director!

So...I'm a girl, and my dream is to be a director when I grow up. My dream has been coming alive over the past couple of years. I have a youtube channel online where I make music videos. I have some of the equipment like...3 Tripod's,2 Camera's, Clap boared (Where you take the top and slap it down and then say ''ACTION!''), and a really good editor which is $75 its called Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD 11.0. I'm also very mature and serious about my career. I'm also making a zombie movie in Jan. I have Actors, and Actress's.
But anyway I wanna make my career grow more! So like I wanna know the other equipment that I need to have. Also like some rules for directing like(Can you write your own movie then direct it yourself)...

Nikon D5100 lenses.

Hello,
I am about to purchase the Nikon D5100 DSLR, and I know that if I'll buy it, it will come bundled with at least one lens.
As I am yet to learn more about lenses (I know basics) but am not going to rush off and spend a lot of money on lenses yet, I was wondering if the basic lens that may come with my camera will be good enough for decent but still high quality photos?
