is this unreasonable?

My BF still speaks to his ex-gf. She lives in a different state but they chat on MSN. They were together over a year. I guess I'm a pretty jealous person, but I actually don't believe in being friends with your exes. I'm not friends with any of mine (I don't hate them though) It's causing me a lot of worry and upset because they've broken up and got back together several times and I'm afraid its going to happen again. would it be unreasonable for me to ask him to stop speaking to her? when i asked him how he felt about her, he said they won't get back together because she no longers likes guys... but I dunno. Doesn't sound very convicing to me. What should I do?

Guys have a different language

This guy and I we have always had a connection through the way we smile and the look in our eyes, we knew we had a connection but we never told each other whats more, we didnt talk alot.
At the prom I asked him whether he ever had a cush on me, he said he did for a year or so but then 'he got the feeling we were just friends' I thought that meant he stopped having a crush on me. My friend on the other hand said 'whattt no!! that means he wasnt getting the right signals from you'..so im perplexed to what he meant by that...i never asked him whether he still had a crush on me, but through the prom he kept holding onto me asking me to dance and impulsiveley kissing me on the cheek...do u think theres something there?? what do u think he meant? anyways take care xxx

Is my job safe

I am a restaurant manager and personnal licence holder and the present owner is selling and the new owner is not sure if he wants to keep me as he has a friend who he would like to do the job. Where do I stand regarding redundency or keeping my job. I have been employed for over a year.

I am 16 years old and im overweight..i weight almost 200lbs. I feel really bad about it and i was wondering if anyone had any dieting tips or anything on how i could loose weight before the summer is over...THANKS!!!

So how many days does it take for it work?
I have some mild acne around my chin and thats all.
I used to use it and saw how my face was clear.. But I dont remember how long it took.
Do you have to use it in the morning and at night? or the afternoon too?

Razor burn?

How can I avoid razor burn? I was doing okay but now I'm getting it.
And also, how can I make my underarms smooth? It seems to have razorburn or..bumps.. that won't go away.. so I keep cutting myself there.
And I can't remove some of the hair there :\

Do a lot of people on MySpace have trackers (codes that allow you to see who's visited your MySpace)? I'm a little concerned about my privacy. Is there a way I can get myself to not show up on trackers when I visit a person's page.

ok well.. i met this friend on the internet.. she love billie joe armstrong like i do... but she is saying she is going to california for the summer and is going to STALK him and search through his garbage!!!!!!I told her that is wrong and he had a right to his own privacy... but then.... he's hot!(laughing) well... i know that is freaky.. and she is getting herself into some serious trouble.. she said she wouldn't do it.. but my main question is.. what kind of trouble will she get into?

OMG!!! TODAY me and my friend's friend fought b/c she talk about me behind my back and the person she talked to is mad at me b/c she been telling him that i hate him and he is stupid! i mean i never said any thing like that why she do this to me i never did any thing like this to her why she is doing this to me i hate person talk behind my back!! and she is not even my true friend.she is my friend's friend. i talked to my friend about this and her advice is useless so i dont kown what should i do to this back staping person by the way i cant just give up that ez i need to get revenge or something i cant just sit around and pertend nothing happened. Tertiary education in America?

I'm a university student, but not in America, so I'm a bit confused by some of the info mentioned in questions at Advicenators. Also, if I ever study overseas, knowing this in detail will come in handy.
1) Is there a difference between 'college' and 'university' in an American context? (I'm presuming also that 'college' differs from 'vocational college', but is that correct?)
2) What are 'liberal arts' as studied in America? Do they play an important part in a standard university degree?
3) How many years does a general university degree (such as B. Arts) usually last, and in that length of time, how many majors are usually completed?
I already have some preconceptions of American ...

IM using Wheres the love - by black eyed peas for a music video i have to make for history. Well my video is 2min and 45 sec long. and the song is 4 min and 44 sec long. IS there a program that i could use to edit the song like by taking out some of the tunes or whatever?
I really dont feel like adding more pictures to the video because i can't find many more pictures.
If you dont know how to edit the song could you list a few websites with Racism Pictures..?

I got a bad test grade and I promised my mom this wouldn't happen again this school year. If I get it signed, then I get extra credit and an A. Because of that, I want and need it sighed. Any good ideas on how to tell her without her being like super mad? 13/f

Nails

(17/F) Okay, I had arcryllic nails put on for prom and I just took them off because they were starting to come loose. Anyone who's ever had nails put on knows how crappy your real nails look after the fake ones come off.. My question is.. Is there any way to make my nails look less damaged? Is it safe to file away the jagged edges on the surface of my nails? They look sort of raggedy. I don't know how else to describe it. Any advice that you have to offer will be greatly appriciated. I rate 5's for good advice.

Okay im not fat or really over weight, i just want to loose like 5 or 6 pounds (get a flat stomach)i want to have a flat stomach by the time camp starts which is in like 3 or 4 weeks! i did loose like three pounds but i was stupid and i totally piged out last weekend and gained it back! does any one have any good tips on how to slim down fast. any diet rules or foods you know that are low calorie and taist good or any thing? i running out of time!
