Do a lot of people on MySpace have trackers (codes that allow you to see who's visited your MySpace)? I'm a little concerned about my privacy. Is there a way I can get myself to not show up on trackers when I visit a person's page.
What I am looking for is to not show up on other people trackers and become a part of their little "list"
it's embarressing and they might think "gosh, She/he checks out my Profile a LOT!" er something.
Hmmm, Private? Stay private and check out peoples profiles without being upon the lists of many other people?
IF I DO find The Perfect solution for this answer, I will get back to you immediatly! [ bulleteffect's advice column | Ask bulleteffect A Question ]

and there really isnt a way not to come up on someones tracker, but you can set your profile to private so they can't view your profile. just change your age to 14 or 15 years old.
christina answered Thursday May 25 2006, 1:35 pm: Tom says that the tracker codes are fake. And all the bulletins people post saying that if you repost, you'll be able to see who views your profile, are wrong. There are no trackers that I know of.
If you're concerned about your privacy, go under basic info in edit profile, and just change the year from whatever it's on to either 1991, or 1992. That'd make you about 14/15 years old, and for myspace, Anything under 16 is private.
Blondbabygirl88 answered Thursday May 25 2006, 11:26 am: Well theres two ways of doing this, you can either private your profile so only your friends on your list can view it...or you can get a code at www.chasebadkids.net i hope that works!!! Oh yeah if you want to private your profile you'd have to change your age to 14....but if you do that watch out for Tom...Much luck
PinkLady4863 answered Thursday May 25 2006, 10:06 am: the myspace tracker can track how many times your profile is viewed by EVERYBODY. so nobody will ever see your name, and they can never see if you looked at your page, just the amount of profile viewings will go up. thats all, same as before
babiigirl answered Thursday May 25 2006, 10:02 am: There are no trackers for myspace. If someone has one on their page thats wierd. When you visit someones page the number goes up and thats how they now someone has viewed there page. [ babiigirl's advice column | Ask babiigirl A Question ]
Tulipg17 answered Thursday May 25 2006, 8:25 am: There WAS one that was working, but myspace has disabled it (as far as I can tell, I don't think it can be reinstalled). 99% of the ones that you saw in bulletins were fakes. None of the ones I've tried has ever worked, but I know for a fact one of them was because I saw it firsthand.
I really don't think you have to worry about it anymore, myspace caught on and removed the loophole. I would LOVE to find one that works but like I said, none ever did on my page. If anyone does have one that is still working, let me know! [ Tulipg17's advice column | Ask Tulipg17 A Question ]
queenhearts answered Thursday May 25 2006, 4:29 am: There are no trackers...
The people that post bulletins about a myspace tracker.. it's a joke that they got themselves into.
You click the "tracker" link, it tells you to click a button..that just reposts a fake bulletin. [ queenhearts's advice column | Ask queenhearts A Question ]
Sherry answered Thursday May 25 2006, 1:41 am: No there is nothing that tracks who goes to their myspace. Thier vistor number just bumps up and thats how they know someone vistited their space but they never know a username or URL. However myspace.com does has information like your IP address and stuff like that but they just need it for security reasons. [ Sherry's advice column | Ask Sherry A Question ]
