i was just wondering. why do wifes give in or obay thier husbands. i know some girls say they don't but iv'e noticed that they do.
i've just noticed that my mom and sister normally give in to their husbands wants or wishes like when my stepdad wants somthing he gets it but when i want somthing i dont or she'll make food for him but not for me or somtimes she excuses his bad behavoirs and dosnt excuse mine. ive also noticed both my mom and sister give in to thier fights and let thier husbands win just so there wont be a big fight even though they know there right and i just wanna know why. what makes them do that? how come they say they wont but then do? could someone please help

omg i need help with my les miserables notes.
does anyone know:
1) how light is used symbolically (like candles, candlesticksm halos, stars, sunlight, etc)
2) what is contrasted to nature? and associated with it?
3) and also according to the book: what is the human potential for goodness?
what causes problems for society?
how can people make the world a beter place for everyone?

I really like this guy that I used to work for. I've known him for almost two years, and was originally just friends with him. In about the last six months my feelings have changed. He was my supervisor, but since June, he has not been. I still talk to him at the least almost weekly, but don't really see him all that much, and there's really no reason for me to as he is no longer my supervisor. I'm not entirely sure of his age because he is a closed off type of guy, but he could be more than ten years older than me (if so, not much more than that as we are POSITIVE he is in his thirties) (that's how closed off he is, people who have known him for more than ten years aren't sure of his exact age) Anyway, I'm pretty sure the whole crush is ho...

Death to Strapless Bras

I've been looking around for homecoming dresses with thicker straps, but I'm having a hard time. They don't have to be really wide, I would just like to be able to wear a regular bra underneath it. Strapless bras are always a pain because you have to keep pulling them up and even with underwire, they hardly support anything. Does anyone know where I might be able to find a dress with thicker straps? Thanks a lot!!! <3

hii. i was looking for some advice. i'm not sure if this is normal or not. but i've always disliked my body, i've always considered myself fat- even if everyone says i'm fine and its just muscle. but i constantly count all of the calories in my food. i'm extrememly self concious...and i wish i wasnt. once in awhile if i feel gross after i eat i'll purge it up. but it's not like i do it constantly. once in awhile i'll avoid eating but yet other days i'll eat regular. i don't weigh myself every single day.. but i'll stand infront of my mirror and point out my flaws and how gross i am. i think i'm the "fat" one in my group and i hate it because all of my friends are thin. do i have a problem or is this okay? help pleasse . thank you

I am a grad student at an ivy where people are quite snobby. Some women started the (false) rumor that I was masturbating in the library. I didn't do anything to these women, I didn't even speak to them ever, and I don't understand why they started this rumor. How I've dealt with it: Rather than defending myself, I just ignored it and focused on my studies, hoping that most people would recognize that it's so preposterous that it must be untrue. I have a question, does anybody know that questiong ((idk who asked it)) but they asked where did this person ((had the website)) get this shirt. I remember the shirt was like a tanktop with lace and then over it was a sheer cover. Then the answeres were from advicenators that said you could buy them at Forever 21 and other stores. Okay, so for school over the summer we had to read a book. This book is extremely boring and I lose interest in it fast. There is alot of big words and its like "how do i read this?" Well i start school tuesday. theres 319 pages and im on like page 140. I dont know if there anything to motivate me or help or what. But I dont know what to do!

Well, okay so i have a distant cousin. and I'd always just use the term of 1st cousin , 2nd cousin, 3rd cousin, etc. Because i didnt get the meaning of like first cousin once removed. Well If you have a first cousin twice removed, Does that mean you are more related to him as if you were related to a 2nd cousin once removed? I always wondered that and thought if there was anyone out there that knew. And if the answer to that question is yes, does the "removed" mean you are less related then like a first cousin in general? Just thought I'd ask cause i was curious. haha. thanks! Curl/Wave Enhancement

My hair is naturally straight, but I have a few kinks that I straighten with a flat iron. I would love to come up with new ideas to try in my hair so I wouldn't have to take the flat iron to it everyday. I hate putting my hair fully up because I don't think it suits me. I am quite interested in adding curls or cute waves. I've tried a few of my mothers curl enhancers but the problem is that there is no curl to enhance lol! I was wondering if you have any sugguestions on products that help give waves or curls without having any real natural curl to my hair. The ideal product would be something I could apply and then scrunch for a very cute & quick look. Please only sugguest products you have tried or know someone who has tried them. Thanks soooo much =)

Flat Iron Alternatives

I was hoping you guys would have some sugguestions on how to add body to hair that is straightened. My hair is naturally pretty straight, but I still have to use a flat iron. Why? One side of my hair likes to flip in and the other side likes to flip out. Also, I have about three little bumps/waves that I like to smooth out. If I let them stay, it looks like I went to bed with wet hair and just don't care. I already have some layers and I don't really want to get anymore because that would make it difficult to put my hair up. I know that straightening really damages your hair and I would love to not have to do it every day! So, I guess I'm asking two things:

Okay, so there's this girl I really like (E), and this other girl (B) my best friend likes. My friend really loves B, he's told me a million times, and he's loved her for a really long time. I've loved E for a long time, not as much time as my friend has liked B, but still pretty long. Ever since I told my friend I love E, he's been nicer and nicer to her. Which I wouldn't mind if it was just the friendly type of niceness, but it's not. It's the "gotta crush on ya" type of niceness. I've asked him about this, and he says he's treating her exactly the same as he always has, but I've noticed a difference. I just am really confused. Do friends normally do these kind of things?
