A little background. I buy jewelry at the 99 cent store and the jewelry I buy looks like I could have brought them at Lord & Taylors, Bloomingdales, Nordstrums - I get a lot of compliments on my jewelry. However, my sister is such a snob so she will not buy anything UNLESS you pay a lot. STORY: Tonight I was wearing a fun ring and she commented on the ring and asked if I brought it at the 99 cent store. I told her no that this was just a fun ring. However, the jewelry I buy at the 99 cent store does not look 99 cent, but she laughed, but my Mom told her that last night when Anna was here for the first night of Passover, Anna loved the necklace that I (meaning me) wore. I called my sister a snob, and she got mad, and said; dont ever call...

ex-love interest for a prom date

So I went to a dance as a date with this guy (we'll call him Bob) a few months back. I said I liked him and he said he liked me but he liked another girl more. I was pissed but I'm over it now and don't like him anymore. But when I needed a date to my junior prom I asked him. It's in a few weeks and I really need to talk to him about things. But his junior prom was this weekend and he went with another girl, and I'm kind of worried he might have liked her--my feelings for him are coming back. We haven't hung out since January...so...
Should I ask him to hang out with a bunch of friends to catch up or what? I really need to talk to him about prom but he rarely picks up his cell and it's so annoying talking on AIM or tex...

i love my best friend to death, but i always feel like she talks about herself and thinks that i care. i don't really know what to say to her..usually this is online when this happens, and i usually just say "lol" or something like that, trying to give her a hint that i'm not that interested. and whenever i talk about myself like a problem i'm having for a little bit, she helps me for a little bit then just stops caring. UGH it bugs me so MUCH!!!

ok, so i have this "friend" (i dont really like her) in my class
and we are both in band, and every time i look up, shes just sitting there staring at me, its really weird, and everytime i pass her in the hallway, she expects me to say hi, and gets mad at me if i dont
how can i tell her just to leave me alone without hurting her feelings??

~13/f~ im the kind of gothic rough girl and hes the kind of preppy nice guy.Im not sure how I like my friend bff or bf. As you may have seen, just today I asked a question on being bullied by older girls. I was punched in the back of the head today but didn't fight back. I don't want to fight, I knew I would lose or get ganged up on.
Before this, I had a perfect life, but I wanted to be a good person. Just a little fear of bad karma from the "usual" backstabbing, etc. Today, everything went wrong.
My "best friends" excluded me from everything. The last time they did this is lasted for months, they are not good friends and I want to get away from them.
There was this guy who I hadn't seen for months but we always talked on the phone. We hung out over the weeken...

I am a 28 year old female, when I was 17 I had a relationship with a divorced man, I was crazy about him but through circumstances that are extremely complicated we ended our affair when I was nineteen and I went off to college. Years passed and I met a great guy who is everything I ever dreamed of we are talking about getting married and we recently went to drinks with his parents. I was so shocked I faked an emergency work call (I'm now a doctor) and fled, my boyfriend has no idea and wants to set up a meeting with his parents to discuss annoucing our engagement. I am so lost what do I do.
