when people sometimes end their question with "thanks in advance" what does that mean?

Just a thank you before you accualy give the answer. So like, a thank you for taking the time and answering it. ]
it means if you answer it, theyre just saying thanks, so they possible wont have to leave the "thanks" feedback when they rate the answer! ]
well it just means thansk for atleast reading it and trying to answer it.
like if i ask ou a question and im going to say thanks anyway i say thanks in advance becase i know you're going to help me.

Basically, saying thank you before the question even gets answered. ]
