ex-love interest for a prom date

Question Posted Tuesday April 3 2007, 9:10 pm

So I went to a dance as a date with this guy (we'll call him Bob) a few months back. I said I liked him and he said he liked me but he liked another girl more. I was pissed but I'm over it now and don't like him anymore. But when I needed a date to my junior prom I asked him. It's in a few weeks and I really need to talk to him about things. But his junior prom was this weekend and he went with another girl, and I'm kind of worried he might have liked her--my feelings for him are coming back. We haven't hung out since January...so...

Should I ask him to hang out with a bunch of friends to catch up or what? I really need to talk to him about prom but he rarely picks up his cell and it's so annoying talking on AIM or text...you can't get your point across right. Thanks.

No, do not go back to him or ask him out or anything. This dude obviously played with your feelings and if you go back to him he will think you are in love with him or something. Try your best to move on there are plenty of other guys in the world and in your case the school. Get over him it will take time but eventually it will happen.

Dear Junior,
I think its best if you tried talking to him one on one without the pressure of other people around you. And it seems to me that you could be somewhat jealous that he may like another girl, now, I'm not accusing you of being jealous but could it be a possibilty? And as for his date to his junior prom, I think it's just a friend. If you arent comfortable talking to him one on one, a group of friends help, but make sure its not over 3 other friends, otherwise I dont think you'll get much talking done. I hope that helps and keep me updated!
Sincerly,
Lisa
