Work out to gain muscle. A pound of muscle burns so many calories even when you aren't in motion. Also give up soda and drink more water.

Give up soda and candy. An occasional chocolate bar isn't gonna hurt as long as you don't eat one regularly. Building muscle is a great way to lose weight because a pound of muscle burns a ton of calories even when you aren't active. Work out with free weights a lot. Drinking water also helps because it ignites metabolism.

Well, i've been datting this chick for over 2 years. The first month we went out, she kissed some other dude, flirted around campus, flirted with my own brother, and was flirting with some other guys on myspace. At first, I was never a jealous person, i was cool, i let her hang out with her guy friends at the mall. etc. First date i've ever taken her out, she held hands wit the guy best friend, kissed his chick, stuck with him making me feel like i was the friend. And i got pissed. Downhill from their. 2 months ago she had told me that she cheated on me 5 times (making out, supposedly)And I always was the one to hold that grudge. I made her cry that day cuz for some reason she hides stuff on her phone, so i said i was goin to stab the guy and whatever, so i got sent to a mental hospitol. Anyways, recently we broke up, she was saying how her feeling changed and she wants to be friends.But it hurts so much to hear that. what shall I do ? :( (link)

The only time tested strategy that works is to find someone you like better. Finding a new person is the only way to get over someone. It may seem unlikely now but trust me soon someone else will come along. Just give it time because life has a way of surprising folks, just keep an open mind to the idea and be ready.

there's a guy in my bio class that i think is so goodlooking and i want to talk to him but i don't want to be creepy. he's also in my major. i found him on facebook but i don't know if i should add him or would that be stalkerish? it's not like i can talk to him in class because we sit on completely different sides of the room and it would def look like i'm trying too hard if i just randomly sat there for the day. so guys, how do you honestly like girls to approach you? without me looking stupid or embarresing myself. and please don't just say "go up to him" cause it really isn't that easy..

I've been in this position before and so have a lot of my friends. The best way to handle it so not to be creepy is to have a guy friend talk to him first and make buds. It's easier for a guy to approach another dude and a girl to approach another female. After your dude friend makes pals will him he can introduce yall and also he can say a lot of nice things first like my friend here is awesome. Other than that the only option is approach him yourself and talk about sports, that's usually a good topic for ice breaker. Good luck.

To be honest you might want to just move on to another person. If he is shy that puts major restrictions on where you two could go. Plenty more people out there, you need to find someone who really likes you and there will be, just give it time.

so there is this boy and we are kind of friends but not like best friends hang out after school kind of friend we talk in school we say hi to each other in the hall. but he found out i like him and now its awkward between us like he acts normal but i get all shaky. i also learned that he has a secret girlfriend that he told no one about but everyone said that he liked me and that's y i started liking him because i thought i might have a chance but now i really like him. he is funny smart nice and cute. he was totally cool with me liking him but he did nothing about it all he said was "it's okay if you like me" and that's it. i have been trying to get over him but i can't stop thinking about him and the last time i tried to stop liking him when i saw him i got weak-kneed. Well if you want to get over him there is only one option. You have to find someone you like better. I know you may not be very open at the moment but trust me someone new will come come along. Just be ready for it. From my own experience and experience from friends I know that it does eventually happen. Plus if the first boy sees you with another person he might get jealous although that was not the intent, wink wink. Anyway good luck and remember to enjoy life. You only young once.

Tell him in person. A text or facebook message can be intercepted or mistranslated. You need to make your intention clear. Just have some guts and do it. You never know how it could play out but if you really like this guy you don't want to miss a chance and wonder later what you could have had. A good strategy is to send a trusted pal in first. It has to be a guy so he doesn't suspect anything. Hopefully you have a few close guy friends and if not get some. Having members of the opposite sex as friends can pay dividends in the future. Get your pal to talk to him. Find out if he's single, interested in someone, and all that good stuff. Then he can always introduce you. The other option is just talk to him yourself. The result may surprise you. Good luck.

How do you get over a guy you've like for about 8 or 9 months because I can't get my mind off of him and it's like I don't know it makes me sad that I'm not with him or he's not talking to me. And I ve tried giving it time and tried liking another guy but in mymind he tops everyone... The best and only way to get over someone is to find a new person you like better. I know you have tried this but just give it more time. I can say from personal experience and from witnessing others that sooner or later a new better person is found. Just be hopeful and enjoy the other things life has to offer. It just might surprise you.

So im finally moving forward from a girl who basically broke my heart. Im talking to anther girl . this weekend that just passed by, i went over too her house and she literally threw herself at me. i didnt do anything just for personal reasons. Shes not my girlfriend. i dont wanna use her for sex. and i promised her i would be friend b4 anything. Well first of all you need to realize that moving on is important. Give this new girl a chance. The only way to fully get over someone is to find a new person you like better. It seems that you have a connection with this new girl. Just see how it plays out and give it time.

School is the number one place to meet. That way you have class and after school activities to look without being weird or trying to hard. Another great tactic is to make a lot of friends. Friends are always introducing each other so that takes the awkward out and you can take it from there. Make lots of friends with boys, like your own team, to look for you and they will of course have other guys around them a lot. That's my best advice. Good luck.

I have heard this kind of story many times. When a guy and girl are best friends one always ends up having feelings for the other one. Remember y'all are probably young and there is a lot more to experience. Trust me having a best friend is the best thing in the world. Also remember relationships come and go but best friends last. Plus keep in mind that sturdy relationships are built on things best friends have. Just relax, enjoy life, and enjoy having a best friend. And no one said you couldn't date other people as well.

What he means is things can play out totally different of what is aimed for or expected. That doesn't mean bad or good just that the only constant thing in life is change. People are always moving and it's hard to access what can happen in the future. He is open to anything that opens.

You can be cute or creative but the best way to go about it is just be upfront and straight about it. This ensures that not interpretation will take place or he thinks it's a joke. Well you said it yourself a guy will stare and flirt. He will talk to you for no real reason. Also he might flirt with others girls within your vicinity. The best way to make a guy like you is to dress like you available and flirt with his friends in front of him. Make sure his friends are really into flirting and ignore the guy you really like. If he talks to you pretend to be not interested.
