My sister

Question Posted Tuesday April 3 2007, 9:38 pm

A little background. I buy jewelry at the 99 cent store and the jewelry I buy looks like I could have brought them at Lord & Taylors, Bloomingdales, Nordstrums - I get a lot of compliments on my jewelry. However, my sister is such a snob so she will not buy anything UNLESS you pay a lot. STORY: Tonight I was wearing a fun ring and she commented on the ring and asked if I brought it at the 99 cent store. I told her no that this was just a fun ring. However, the jewelry I buy at the 99 cent store does not look 99 cent, but she laughed, but my Mom told her that last night when Anna was here for the first night of Passover, Anna loved the necklace that I (meaning me) wore. I called my sister a snob, and she got mad, and said; dont ever call me that I still wont buy anything at a ninety cent store;. My brother-in-law told my sister that she should not say things like that to me. Any way later on I showed her a necklace and she said it was pretty. MY QUESTION: WHY IS MY SISTER SUCH A SNOB AND REFUSES TO ACKNOWLEDGE THAT ONE CAN BUY BEAUTIFUL JEWELRY AT THE 99 CENT STORE. I MEAN I DISCOVERED THIS MARCH 2006 BUT THEY HAVE BEEN SELLING THE JEWELRY FOR MANY YEARS. AS I SAID IF YOU SAW THE JEWELRY AND I TOLD YOU I BROUGHT THE JEWELRY AT BLOOMINGDALES, NORDSTRUMS, ETC YOU WOULD BELIEVE ME.

Hey
Well let me start off by saying that this person below me, is so rude. Don't pay any attention to her or him or whatever. This is a site for help. If you need help we'll be gladly to help. If she wants to say stuff that sounds so ignorant then she shouldn't be writing to you at all. So let me try to help you. Well your sister sorry to say sounds very ignorant. Maybe she's jelous because you have pretty jewlery. Me personaly I love buying my fake jewlery, and I don't care if it lasts a little bit its still pretty. Just ignore her. She sems very kidish. Whenever she tells you that just tell her ok and I care what you think because....it'll make her look stupid and if she was smart enough she would stop bothering you. Hope I helped!
Also, keep in mind this is a site for any kind of help. Don't let ride people keep you down.

EDIT;
Good job, now every knows how pathetic you are. You need help from someone professional, not a bunch of teens on a website. You're boring and predictable.

First of all stop typing in all capitals. It's fricking annoying.

Secondly it's Nordstrom not Nordstrums.

Thirdly, we know who you are. We know you're obsessive compulsive and you've been asking the same kinds of questions for ages. There's nothing more we can do for you, we've tried our best to convince you and it's not enough. You need stop obsessing about what other people think.

Many people, including myself, refuse to shop at 99 cent stores because the quality is awful and *most* of the stuff there is ugly and not even worth a dollar. Not to mention that the crowd in there tends to be fairly creepy- I've had my wallet/purse stolen more times in a 99 cent store than in any other place. I used to love those stores, but I realized it's not worth it and many people feel the same way. Also the stuff is there is things that didn't sell in normal stores which means it's no longer in style or fashionable.

Most of the time it is worth paying for quality jewelry. It lasts forever and the majority of people can tell obvious fakes- it shows in every way, the workmanship is just not the same.

This isn't even a question. It's a rant. Please stop.

Oh, and go ahead, rate me down if it makes you feel any better. Ratings mean nothing to me. It'll just make you look pathetic.

your sister isnt going for the looks she is going for the feeling of getting something worth more. Something worth more feels better< maybe not to you but to her probably. Plus think of this when someone ask you how much or where how do you feel. if you dont care then thats ok. But she probably feels better saying something that is worth more. Remember money doesnt buy happiness maybe you know that but she doesnt.

I hope this helped you.
