I am a new desk receptionist in my dorm hall this year. I am a sophomore but this is my first year working for housing. I have quite a few shit shifts, 4-6 am... I know :( but I was just wondering how to stay alive during those and how to also be a cool person during the day. I also really want to engage with my residents and be a friendly, likable person. The people on the staff of the dorm I was in last year really impacted my first year and made me want to work the job that I am working so I was just wondering how I can impact my residents' college experience as well.

I got hired to work on my college housing staff. I am 18 and female and the guy I will be talking about is 19. So, I thought he was cute for a while. I didn't exactly know what category to put this in, but anyways. This guy I know that works at the same place I do is normally pretty chill and really cool. Now that he has a girlfriend I noticed that he has forgotten to do many different things at his job (little things such as forgetting to turn off the lights to the indoor pool off, forgetting to turn the hose outside off, etc.) Is he really that much preoccupied with his girlfriend? He doesn't even hang out and chill with me and my coworkers during work anymore either, instead he's constantly texting his girlfriend. What's the deal?? He's normally really relaxed and doesn't have a care in the world. It's like I don't even know him anymore, I mean I still want to be friends with him but he's pushing everyone away...

I have been with my boyfriend for almost a year. I love him to death but I have some concerns. He lies a lot not just to me but to everyone. I will find out stuff he hasn't told me through mutual friends. And because of his lying he is losing a lot of friends. Another concern is that my family and friends are not fans. My bf & I have been together for 11 months. He has quite a temper on him & Sometimes gets really angry & calls me names. It's wrong but because I'm scared of his temper, I sometimes hide things from him or not tell the truth. Usually about small things to spare his feelings (like if he got invited to a party or not)
I've tried telling him about this before but he just doesn't seem to understand that he's part of the problem. I've tried not lying/hiding but he just gets so mad when I tell the truth. OK So we had this basics for Marching thing for the Band and Guard. It was specifically for the Incoming Freshmen (I am a Freshman; 14/f) BTW I;m in the guard. I am a Second year vet (I have been in the Guard/Band for a full year and it's my second year) and I know how to march but Guard was required to come. Well I sort of ran into this guy there (at the high school) He's in my grade and in the band. He seems really cool and I'd like to become good friends with him. I Think I Need to Lose Weight.

I'm thirteen years old and female, and I think I weigh a little more than I should. I'm four feet and eleven inches and almost ninety pounds. I have gained a lot of weight recently, and I don't like it. When I was in fourth grade, I was only four feet tall and 48 pounds. I wish I could stay that way.
I think I need to start eating less, exercising more, or something like that. Whenever I eat more than I usually do, I feel awful about it. So far, I have tried to make sure I don't eat too much at meals, and I do a lot of sit-ups and yoga. When I start school again, I'll be doing PE every day, too. I'm trying to eat only 1300 calories a day. Is that good enough, or should I eat less than that?

im young,but not too young. I can't help but feeling so down about not being pregnant. I dont know why thats the frusterating part. i have been spotting for a while so i went to the doctor and i had to get blood drawn to see if i was pregnant and it came up negative. i was kind of hoping i was and now im really sad and angry. i guess God has plans for me until im really ready.
